Lol, Imagine how my neighbors feel. I just picked up the M6 3 weeks ago. The Speed protege and one of the Tributes have to go soon, I don't have any more room.
Are the mounting brackets for the front sway bar the same on a MSP and regular Protege? I replaced my front bushings with prothane ones that lasted less that 20k miles before clucking again, I want to revert back to new stock rubber bushings but misplaced the old brackets. Just wondering if I...
I just bought a 2014 M6 Touring 6 speed manual last week, It has 121,600 miles on it currently. I put about 500 on it so far myself, its runs and drives no different than the 2 I test drove prior to purchasing this that had 30-40k on the odometer. I also paid close to half the cost for this car...
This is a MSP Radiator, hence why its a little pricier than a regular protege and it clearly states only year 2003 and Turbocharged. I can verify as I ordered one last year.
Unfortunately I don't have the space in the Driveway for this car anymore. It is in pristine condition and has all options except for navigation. Details are:
130,000 Miles
Rota P-1 18x8 Charcoal Wheels
Corksport LED Tail Lights
Cobb Accessport V2
Corksport 80mm exhaust
Corksport Downpipe...
http://www.partsgeek.com/mmparts/radiator/mazda/protege.html I can vouch that this is a direct OEM replacement, its worth the extra $70.00 to have brand new vs. a 10+ year old radiator.
I have an extra center resonator pipe, but it would probably cost more to ship than it's worth.
did you check the list from google doc's in this thread: https://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showthread.php?123817795-MSP-Production-Numbers-REFERB-D!
It seems to load for me.
The salt is Killing these cars. I picked up a MS6 back in january with a blown transfer case. It going up for sale in a few weeks though. I still prefer driving the MSP over it.
Ahhh, ohh well, This works well and I enjoy any opportunity to fire up my welder. No one happens to have an upgraded SMIC they're looking to get rid of? that's what I'll be in the market for next. I thought about Front mount, which I custom made one on my old laserblue MSP a few years back, but...
after coming up short on finding an Injen intake in the classifieds, and not being willing to pay full price for a brand new one, because it's way overpriced for what it is. I decided to make my own intake and hot pipe, including a 1" port for the bypass valve and a Bosch bypass valve that I had...
I've been quite busy restoring Blazing Yellow MSP #249 back to it's glory. I started by cutting out the rear wheel well rust and welding in fresh sheet metal:
I then came up with the best solution in my mind to cover to the repair, I also decided to paint the hood Satin black to match since...
I've had an 03 6s GT, very comfortable to drive, but poor as far as gas mileage. I haven't gotten my hands on any second Gens but it's pretty much the same chassis but a bigger engine. The Cx7 will require the same high maintenance that the Mazdaspeed's require such as timing chain/vvt swap if...
