My service place told me they won't rotate my tires since they are starting to crack. They are 7 years old
My car is a 2013 Mazda 3 iSport Sedan and mainly looking for a smoother ride although I know it will never be good, but I don't want mush.
I currently have Continental Control Contact Tour...
They refused to give a quote without checking the brakes first.
I am going for an oil change in 2 weeks and it will include a brake inspection.
It was at 4mm 6 moths ago, I don't know why I thought it was less than that but hopefully I will end up not needing it.
I just looked at the receipt from my last brake inspection in September 2025 and it said the brakes are at 4mm, I don't know why I thought it was lower.
I have a full AAA inspection which also includes a brake check so I will just go by the report which I assume will be OK since I don't put much...
I had a brake inspection and the front's were lower than the rear (I seem to remember 3mm).
I do a lot of short trips with a lot of stop and go braking and to be honest they feel like they need to be replaced.
I sent a message to another AAA Station and will see what they quote me.
I've been going to the same place for a while now and they have been honest and not over recommending items.
I want to change my front brakes and they quoted me a price of $516 which is more than I was expecting. I do get a 10% AAA discount off of that price. I know things are more expensive...
I had this issue in the past and it just resolved itself. I don't open my rear doors because that sets it off, but I just had my car detailed and the problem is back. The door open light keeps coming on even though the doors are closed.
Sometimes when I click on the lock all doors/unlock all...
There is a floating black piece of plastic blocking the hole into the reservoir.
Can I safely remove it and replace it?
I did it, it was the filer and it came out easily. I left the fluid a drop above the line just in case.
Turns out it is not blue, the antifreeze tank behind it reflected on it.
However, I couldn't get it lower enough. There is a black thing that is blocking the hole. It is loose, can I remove it and the replace it?
This is how high they filled it:
I'm going to remove some of the fluid tomorrow when the engine is cold.
I'll check the color, maybe it was the sun making it seem blue? When I checked again the sun wasn't strong
First time this happened. I take my car to this place and not Jiffy Lube to avoid things like this from happening.
I always check fluids the day before I bring it in and the fluid was right at the line so I don't know how this could have happened
It's funny but when I previously checked the power steering fluid when it was at the line I didn't notice a color to it, but now that it's filled to the top it looks blue.
Is this odd?
I just took the cap off and looked inside and it looks reddish/brown. I could have sworn it looked blue this...
Hey all,
My service place filled the power steering fluid way past the fill line, almost to the top of the reservoir.
Do I need to bring it to them (they are closed until Monday) or can I just use a turkey baster to remove the excess fluid?
I assume I should do it in the morning when the...
