My MSP was a symphony of squeaks and rattles. I always thought it was singing to me. With luv. <3
Although I am pleased to say that my last setup suspension was relatively quiet.
I've left tools under the hood more times than I'd like to admit ..
My dad wins the trophy for the craziest thing left under the hood of my MSP, though. He called me up one night after we'd spent the day working on it, and asked me if I'd seen his glasses anywhere. Turns out that he'd left them...
Please just continue the current one, no need to make new threads about the same information that's all gathered in the same place.

Stockers. Which made the raked look THAT much worse. It made me crazy, I kept getting the urge to kill people just so I could throw their bodies in the trunk and weigh the back end down.
I ran Progress springs on Tokico Illumina struts and loved the combination. But they definitely lowered my car more than 1.5" -- I'd say it was more like a good 2" all around.
Please note, I had 18" wheels with 35 series tires, so OEM rubber on the Racing Harts won't look the same. Obviously...
To summarize ..
If you put on lowering springs while still using the stock struts, the back end of the car will sit higher than the front due to the higher perch height in the rear. The 'raked' look will become even more noticable if you use certain types of lowering springs that already come...
I used to get the WRX mix-up sometimes. Never quite understood why, considering there's no color of WRX that's close to titanium.
I even get mix-ups with my G. Had some guy ask me if it was an Acura a few weeks ago. I guess the Mt Fuji emblem kinda looks like an A?
I guess I'm alone on this .. but I don't like it. I always thought that the MSP's headlights were rather nicely designed, and now you can't see them. And that tint has to effect light output at night, and that's not be something I'd be willing to sacrifice.
You should be able to get your tails...
Getting excited! .. My G is still gonna be winterized since I'm just starting the process of getting the OEM Rays powdercoated. But who really cares. :D
I'm not 100% positive, but I'm pretty sure that any year Protege interior is interchangeable with the MSP. My dad owns a 2000 Protege ES, and our interiors were identical save for the colors of the trim pieces and the seat cover designs and whatnot. He got a lot of hand-me-down parts from my MSP...
^^ No. The 03.5 MSPs came out in the summer of 2003. I bought mine that July.
To the OP -- anyone that tells you they have anything OTHER than a 2003 or 2003.5 MSP is lying.
WAIT.
Do you have upgraded rotors, or are you completely on stock MSP components?
I ask because I had upgraded to Rotora slotted rotors on my MSP, and the Mazda3 wheels I'd bought to be my 'new' winter beaters DID NOT FIT because of them. The bore for the hub on the wheels wasn't large enough...
