So i screw the 2 nuts all the way down so their tight and use the first nut to screw the oil filter rod out? Oh yea thanks guys got the windage tray out. I see that there are small cracks is it still good? I don't see any major cracks that go through each side.

Ok, so how do you get the oil filer rod from the msp motor out? I see that it is longer then the N/A motor.

I have my motor out and I removed my oil pan and now trying to remove my windage tray. Took off all the blots already but is not coming off. Would i need to remove the tranny first? and how do you remove the oil filter rod?

I checked out the motor yesterday and it looks like its from a 03 protege. The problem is that the engine was left out side with the vehicle and the hood was removed and placed on top of the engine bay sideways. What are the chances that the rain or weather might effect the motor?
