OP, I commend you on your stamina! We couldn't wait to dump the Toyos at ~17k, due to noise and declining handling. They had plenty of tread left, but that was a meaningless indicator of wear for us.

We dumped the Toyo's at around 15k miles and replaced them with CC2's. Best decision ever!

FYI, OTD pricing is considered the total you paid, including fees and taxes. It is not something that is comparable on the web, but it seems like you're referring to your "negotiated" price. Your CR-V was totaled, so you had no trade in, correct?

What's your issue with remote starting? It can be done by either leaving the window down, and then reaching in and closing it (Auto-up). The other way is to physically lock it with the key after closing the door. Both of those methods will not prevent the vehicle from being stolen. Remote start...

The ones being stolen are the ones with physical keys. I guess they forgot to use an immobilizer in the system from 2015 through 2019. Also, I've not heard of any EV's being stolen, so I think he's safe. :)

You should see if they can keep the wrap on it. That way, when you trade it in a few months down the road, it will still look new. :unsure:
