Mazda CEO says American drivers want ICE vehicles

It was MY testimonial. At least it wasn't propaganda for a foreign country. :)

Mazda CEO says American drivers want ICE vehicles

At this stage, unless you live in Idaho, you have enough options to not worry about it. We've had our Tesla for 18 months. In that time, we've taken a few trips that required charging at a supercharger. No more than 15 minutes was needed to get us up and running for another couple hundred miles...

Mazda CEO says American drivers want ICE vehicles

You sound a little propagandist there. EV's are really already at a point where most US homeowners could benefit from owning one. The ability to charge at home is really all that's needed for over 90% of their driving needs. Infrastructure is getting to a point where it's not as much...

Wow! I'm impressed you still have the Kia. You were on a roll for awhile. Just look what it shows under your avatar. What year was that Acura?

It's definitely the minority, which is why I questioned it. If you go to Costco, their pump reach either side easily.

We love Buc-ees! We don't stop there for gas, but to use their restrooms and get some great food. I've never noticed their gas prices to be be much lower than a top tier station. We also utilize their nice dog area while stopped with our pup. It will be a perfect place to charge your EV, once...

    Built in obsolescence?

Ok, thanks for confirming my suspicions. Take care! :ROFLMAO:

    Built in obsolescence?

Bottom line, if you believe vehicles are being engineered to fail, you're a conspiracist.

    Built in obsolescence?

Yeah, just like big pharma has suppressed a cure for cancer. Conspiracists are everywhere!

    TPMS Thoughts (2019 CX-5 GT)

The reset button, resets the pressure to what the tires are currently inflated to. Did you take note of the pressures when you hit the button? No need to press it after filling to OEM spec's. You should have been able to tell which one was low, using a pressure gauge.

    CX-5 Accessory must haves?

Actually, WT has gone down hill over the past several years. I live 30 minutes from their warehouse, but stopped buying from them after our CX-5, due to quality concerns. Husky was a much better option for my Ranger, and LDCRS is great in our Tesla. WT is getting too diverse in their products...

Am I the only one happy with the OEM Toyo A36 Tires?

Our issue with them was mainly noise related. Replaced them at about 18k miles with CC2's and were much happier. While the OEM's weren't horrible in the snow, the CC2's were an improvement. If you're happy, there's no need to worry about it. As they say, YMMV.

Please share the recent results of your "skilled" negotiations. Can you post the details of your last new vehicle purchase, including all the pertinent details? What do you even drive? There's a reason mainstream dealers don't like selling EV's. It's because they can't compete with the likes of...

LOL Yeah, because they don't want to pay thousands over the original sticker price. Not every buyer is stupid. If you're an educated buyer, you go in knowing what you should be paying. You can either chose to negotiate, or just walk out. The problem being, it's not easy to find another local...

Off Topic Dealerships need to end

Thanks for confirming your bias. I do agree that there are buyers out there that expect dealers to lose money. They are in a very small minority, though. I also agree that not all dealers are shady, but they too seem to be dwindling as of late. I don't know how old you are, but I've been...

Off Topic Dealerships need to end

Are you implying that the customer is the aggressor? That's laughable. The educated customer knows the value of the product they're purchasing. The seller hopes they don't and tries hard to maximize profit by using all sorts of shady tactics. It wasn't always this bad. They need to go the way of...
