Replaced the battery with an Interstate brand. The original battery was long past needing replacement.

Getting remaining wheels re-powdercoating. Dropped two off that I'd gotten off Craigslist, but they couldn't match them to the ones that were on the car so they said they would re-coat those as well, for free. I guess I'll have fresh shoes for spring.

As far as the gas smell, do you sometimes top off your tank by continuing to pump gas in after it initially stops? This could saturate your charcoal filter and over time render it useless and display a CEL and cause other smog related sensors to fail.
