No, I don't know where you work, because I don't even know you. (rofl2) If it's NH it must be BavAuto. Can you get me the "Homie-hook-up"? The sad thing is that when I bought the car last year I bought H&R springs, Bilstien sport strut/shocks, all new suspension components like control arms...

Nomad - E30 BMW to stay in the family.

Finally! Got the car running nicely, and finally took some time and cleaned it up. After replacing/rebuilding the cylinder head and replacing all hoses and lines, filters, water pump etc I plan to keep it. I felt like selling it when it broke down a few months after buying it, but after all the...

    C&D Protege 5 Review

Maybe that's why i could "keep up" with a BMW 335i in traffic by staying in the fast lane while he cut in and out. I always ended up passing him when he reached bottlenecks.

    Retrofit regenerative braking?

intake, exhaust, light throttle pressure, drive slower, shift sooner, inflate tires higher = more mpg gains at less price. Fun to think about though.

How much for a full brake job these days?

Good rule of thumb is $300 for pads and rotors and new brake fluid. Make sure to lube the slider pins with high temp grease while you are in there.

that's the sedan version. You'll have to cut and reweld to make the tip shorter but it would still look good.

    WTB/WTT Filler strips for non-roofrack Protege5

Kicking around an idea. Just thought I'd put it out there and see what everyone has. Not 100% convinced till I see if someone is down. I'm considering getting rid of the stock roofrack rails as I don't use it but I'd need the long thin fill in strips. Wondering if anyone without a roofrack...

    Which First: Springs or Wheels?

wheels with stock height looks dumb IMO, especially if you upsize. Drop looks great with stock rims and then later on you'll put the wheels on and look that much better, and you'll know that the wheels fit. Springs also improve handling so you'll be loving life.
