All this occurred on my 1992 LX over a two-week period vs. 'today':
New clutch kit
Re-surfaced flywheel (0.002 removed)
R/R the front L & R lower ball joints
R/R the front L & R outer tie-rod ends
R/R the front and rear L & R stabilizer links
R/R water pump
R/R the timing belt, tensioner...
14 years already?! They grow up so quick...welp off to the Protege forums to learn more about radiators..

You need to change the Thread Display Options underneath the Forum Information and Options. Use the drop down to select the range date you wish to view.

Laser Blue here as well. There used to be a Titanium here but it was an Army dude who's transferred outta here. Local young cat has a beat upon Laser Blue as well that he's let go to waste (sadbanana) and it's been sitting in his yard w/out plates for months...
Get another MSP if you're willing to deal with the odds & ends that come with owing one. They've always been sweet to look at and a blast to drive even if it's not the fastest straight line auto you've tried to launch. The others already said it, good luck finding one that has not been abused...
OG owner of a 1992 LX currently @170k miles. Have only replaced the catalytic convertor, muffler x2, timing chain, tires x5, stereo and lots of oil changes.
4 days late and I saw you figured it out but yes, you need to shim the MX5 rim in order to clear the larger caliper on an MSP. I'm running the Ichiba version 1 10mm spacers. I had to replace the OG lugs with the included longer studs.
