    Resonator delete???

If anything, I would think/guess that the boom in the cabin would be increased to the point of annoying, especially at highway speeds? The Speeds would react differently because of the turbo being in the system.

    engine stalling/backfiring

Backfiring, or popping through the exhaust when you back off? A CBE will do that because of the straight through design of the muffler/system. It's normal, but will likely become a little less so once the ECU learns, and your own driving style changes a little bit. I still get the occasional...

    yo fellas

I was thinking the same thing? :) The guys that started that forum got banned from here because they were/are douchbags. Welcome aboard, Oscar!! Of your two choices, I would go with the blue. Silver/blue sounds good to me. Besides, many others have done black. Blue would be a little more...

    Bad MPG Completely Stock

From what I've read, the Speeds run a bit rich and therefore build up carbon pretty quickly in the EGR system. That might be worth a look. If the EGR is clogged and not working, or the tube is clogged, that could just be your whole problem. If it's clogged badly, Seafoaming thew car will do...

    New member!

Welcome to the forum!! And CONGRATS on the new ride too. From my own experience all aftermarket RMM's will cause some additional vibration, especially when the A/C compressor is on. But they also help eliminate front wheel hop. Go with a lighter Duro rating, 60-70 D's and one w/the largest...

    Let's see some Mazda3 5-doors

So have I. But when I searched for the original story, I couldn't find it. Too bad though. Winning Blue is a beautiful color and those racing stripes looked just right on that one.

What have you done to your MS3 today?

Good point! I was only kidding about using the quote though....

What have you done to your MS3 today?

You should have reminded your boss of this quote often attributed to Mark Twain: "Better to keep your mouth closed and be thought a fool than to open it and remove all doubt"? Then again, maybe not.

    Tuning

As for the exhaust and rich tune, even my NA car has that. But my Vibrant exhaust sticks out just a bit further than yours is and it doesn't spit on the bumper cover. Your exhaust reminds me of the sedan guys running the hatch exhaust which is slightly shorter. Because the sedan is nearly 2"...

What have you done to your MS3 today?

I have an '04 N/A 3 and yes, definitely feel more available power when the temps are around 50-60*. It puts a smile on my face every time!!

What have you done to your MS3 today?

I don't have personal experience w/that mount, but I have read and do know that those dogbone mounts tend to create a lot of vibration. They don't have much surface area in them (small bushings) to absorb the vibration of the engine. If it's less vibration you want, go w/a bigger mount, one...

What have you done to your MS3 today?

In a word... OUCH!! Pretty harsh there, Oak. If it makes you feel any better, my wife doesn't understand either. It has taken me 7 yrs to get to where I am today w/the car. But I have to admit that some of what she says makes sense. The car... 10-12yrs at best. The house... 30yrs or more...

What have you done to your MS3 today?

The factory mounts while comfortable are a bit weak... a known issue. I had one mount go bad and I don't have a 263hp Speed, but a regular 160hp N/A 3. Careful which mount(s) you choose or you could find yourself with a serious vibration problem, made worse by the A/C compressor. I'm on my...

What have you done to your MS3 today?

I'll +1 these. The HL's do look good... better than OE. Depending upon the mount you choose, you may have to remove the 3, 21mm bolts that hold the mount bracket on. One of mine had so much loc-tite on it from the factory that part of the threads came out with it (the top bolt, of course,) but...

I have to agree with this statement (^^^) the most. Not my cup of tea either as I too like the understated better, but you are the one that has to live with it.
