ok here goes: the first one is oddly framed. you included all this useless stuff way above who I am guessing is your son's head. why is it there? instead of doing that, stoop down, get at the same level as him, shoot level to the ground, and fill the frame up with him, not the blurry woods...

what does that camera do? it looks like you can take it underwater or something. While we were on our trip to the southwest (vegas, death valley, grand canyon, etc), the scenery was making me think of Ansel Adams and the kind of photos that he took. I don't get to do very much dramatic...

it's a really good candid shot. It's got a distracting background, but for the kind of shot it is, I don't think the background hurts it. The processing is nice, focus is perfect, and the exposure is pretty good. Maybe 1/3-1/2 underexposed, but that is probably just my personal preference...
