Opening the door triggers some things inside the car, the dome lights, the dashboard lights, the powered seat, the fuel pump etc. So which one is it in your case? The seat? The fuel pump? Just guessing here.
I am so happy that I ran to the dealership, back in November, to get my hands on a CX-5 Turbo! The more I watch these reviews, the more I like my choice.
You need something like this. I bought it from ebay and replaced it myself. If you’re willing to spend more money, you can alway buy it brand new from the dealership.

38325 MSRP? for a Premium Plus N/A ? Isn't that high? My previous CX-5 was a 2020 Premium Plus and MSRP, if I remember, was around 35K. My current 2025 Turbo premium was at 38250 MSRP.
Check the oxygen sensors. You can stop by any auto parts store and ask them to run the test. It’s free of charge. If it turns out you have an issue with one of the oxygen sensors, I advise to replace the faulty one sooner rather then later. In the long run it may develop in a catalytic converter...
