Rear Hatch Latch - Works Intermittently...

I wasn't happy the way mine was closing, so I adjusted the latch side myself. Understand though that this may not be the total solution since the hinges can be adjusted as well.

    Brand New CX-5 Dash Rattling....booo

It comes out fairly easily, take a flat plastic tool (or very carefully with a screwdriver) and on the left side pry it outward. There's a screw under there, you may want to tighten it. Also the plastic garnish piece below and to the left of the window switches easily comes out and there's a...

Replacing the speakers- General thoughts on my install

2 additional points: 1. When disconnecting the battery disconnect the negative, not the positive as I saw posted here in the speaker replacement thread... 2. You'll probably need to initialize the power window so that the auto open/close feature works: With the ignition on, roll the driver's...

It tends to work best with that color, I was going to either paint it in total or have a racing strip that color. Lambo doors are next!

Thinking of painting my CX-5... Myself!

Saw this revolutionary method of painting and wanted to share. I think I'm going to go for it and make the car of my dreams come to life, for as the Polish proverb states: " 'One must take care of themselves!' said the mountain man as he tied his shoe with a worm." Low carbon footprint airbrush!

Reminder: Don't forget to take care of your black trim!

Cost and issues with matching color to the body maybe? Ever notice that many plastic bumpers don't exactly match the sheet metal? Back to the OP, I've read good things about 303 Protectant and I think I'll try that on the CX-5. I've used Armor-All in the past but I think it actually causes more...

    Painted Calipers

Other than looks, what does it provide? It's a lot of work for no change in performance, I think it silly personally. It's a really cool CUV, not an AMG or a Lamborghini... But to each, his own.
