I was running 205/45/16 for the last few years but switched to 205/50 this summer. Fills in the wheelwells a little better. As for the speed difference one percent is so negligible you won't even notice. I mean if you're gonna go 80 in a 65 zone, you're speeding, one percent off or not!

I have the RB axle-back as well and it fits perfectly. It was originally mated to the stock exhaust and afterward swapped the stock pieces for Thunder pieces and still a perfect fit...

The only way you are probably going to get the axle-back portion only is luck...I don't know if you can find one anywhere new but you can try. It was a dealer accessory called the Sport Exhaust, not to be confused with the Mazdaspeed Axle-back. The Sport Exhaust was made by Racing Beat.
