    2017 Cx-5 and Lexus NX.

Talking of comparisons, it seems like the new Lamborghini Urus SUV got its wheel inspiration from the previous gen CX-5 19s (lol)

CX-5 Sales continue to set records

Good to see the sales numbers are improving in the US. New model seem to be ever more popular than the previous gen or maybe crossovers are generally gaining popularity these days. Looking forward to the production debut of the HCCI tech.. and then the new CX in the US.

    2017 Cx-5 and Lexus NX.

Yes I saw that just recently again. Seriously it makes you turn your head away if you happen to lay your eyes on it! lol. It just looks like a Toyota Land Cruiser, Prado with the Lexus corporate front end tacked on to it.

    2017 Cx-5 and Lexus NX.

Yes, design style I think the NX and most of the Lexus models have too many sharp lines and looks too busy. Very futuristic boy-racer transformer like look to them whereas Mazda's have smoother flowing lines with more elegance, something which I thought a luxury car maker like Lexus should be...

2.5 Litre Turbo coming to CX-5 sooner than we thought?

That is also what I was thinking, thats if they are revealing models only for the US market. Mazda has a history of participation at the LA Motor Show. Can't wait for the reveal to come :)

2.5 Litre Turbo coming to CX-5 sooner than we thought?

More likely cylinder deactivation but if he has composed each of the facts from his article correctly to also mention the CX-5 then we should get excited but I have my doubts about the 2.5T in the CX-5 yet as it will only debut in the 6 as reported. He did say " a revised CX-5... will break...

    Where Is Mazda Headed Next?

Unless AWD is standard for the range-topping 2.5T worldwide :) but who knows. Australia usually gets decent features in their models. There are actually many differing variants in different markets. For example in Malaysia, they have the CX-5 2.5L in FWD only whereas all CX-5 2.5L in Australia...

    Where Is Mazda Headed Next?

Ofcourse Mazda HQ have to give the final approval after the Region makes their case for their own market. The regional HQ has to make the request first for something that is already there in other markets. So if AWD is actually available in other markets, you need to hope your regional HQ...

2017~2025 How to turn headlights off?

(iagree) sidelight / parking light is your best bet even if driving through to the drive-in cinemas. Unfortunately not a good configuration for the MNOC markets.

    Where Is Mazda Headed Next?

If they already have AWD in other markets then it would be even easier to add it to the upcoming 6. Their on-demand AWD system is not exactly new, they have it in the CX-5, CX-9 etc.

    2018 Mazda6 to get 2.5T motor

Awesome. Will make the Mazda 6 one of the top sporty sedan / wagon (hopefully) in it's class to go with its already sleek looks. Mazda like to keep their lineups similar across the models so I am optimistic they will add the 2.5T to the range topping CX-5 model as they will do here with the 6...

Mazda CX-5 vs Subaru Crosstrek XV

Maybe so. But despite the HR-V having good interior space, exterior-wise it is noticeably smaller than a CX-5, hence the different categorization. They have to base it on exterior dimensions in relation to all other vehicles on road space.

Mazda CX-5 vs Subaru Crosstrek XV

The Subaru XV is in the small CUV category with the likes of CX-3, HR-V etc and is based on the Impreza platform. the CX-5 is a category higher than the XV in the mid-size bracket.

CX-5 Sales continue to set records

All the KODO designed Mazdas pretty much prioritise styling over practicality. I'm ok with it personally (lol) At least they also focus on the "driving matters" side of things too.

2017~2025 Excited but anxious about driving my new CX-5

Congrats on the purchase. You will love it and will treat it like a baby. Obviously size-wise its something that needs getting used to but the CX-5 proportions are not too bad for parking and the steering feel easy and light though the new-gen steering on low speed could be slower than older...
