2016 Mazda CX-5 - What do you not like?

Cars, for decades now, have a dual master brake cylinder for that vary reason. And it's been called parking brake for just about as long. The rear brakes of your truck should of still been working. I'm sure there is some other catastrophic brake failure that can happen but it would be really...

235/55-19 Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season Plus-->don't

Glad you shared.. I'm looking at the Continental ExtremeContact DWS All-Season Tire ... in a larger size. Anybody else have experience with these as they're rated high too?

Can you open trunk from inside?

I think they don't want to compete with the CX9.. it seems to have the options many of us would like to see on our's

    would like a quieter ride

I did some insulation work on my 67 PU with the following: This stuff is a pretty good spray on... really good for keeping heat out. http://www.lizardskin.com/ Also add something similar to this from "fatman"...

How To Acquire Non-US Spec Head Restraints for a US-spec CX-5

I have them and we rarely have someone in the back. Today my wife was in the back seat with our new puppy and she simply raised the headrest. I can tell you Australia does not go easy on safety and I believe they have the low headrest. It's probably not approved here because we aren't...

What have you done to your CX-5 today?

Can't see the difference between spacers and aftermarket rims with different offset. Been putting spacers on my cars for over 25yrs... never had a wheel bearing issue. Maybe if you were going extreme, like 3inches or more (4X4)..

    2017 CX5 Changes?

I think that's what they'll do... just keep adding more options. Imagine they planned it this way from the beginning; easy to do and just enough to keep enticing people.

spacers for stock 19in wheels - sizes

I first bought a pair of 25mm spacers and put them on one side of the car.. 5mm is about a quarter inch, not much really. But it looked like they stuck out a bit more than the back. Track width is only .1in difference (track width, front 62.4 in track width, rear 62.5 in ) but I think it's just...

    All Weather Mats...Which?

Looks a lot like the 3D maxpider. covers dead peddle and has nice lip to keep spills in. The rear are nice too. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DLMQHX8/?tag=m20b7-20

    Forgot all about this stuff...???

What about cleaning the A-Pillar/hood liner (around handle)? It's kind of white and I'm afraid of leaving a stain.

What have you done to your CX-5 today?

Man, that looks good! How's the ride with the coilovers? Did you have to modify the holes for the shocks in the engine bay?

    Ride Quality - Lowered Springs

Thanks, Like I said, most my cars have Eibach lowered springs so my comments on quality of ride may be from a firmer perspective than most people. Just don't like harsh (shocks can affect this) or bottoming out. Plus the biggest deal on my other lowered cars were speed bumps, driveway issues...

    Ride Quality - Lowered Springs

Hi all, I'd like to hear from those with lowered springs.. particularly H&R. Also, if on stock shocks or aftermarket. I've had Eibachs on most my cars but understand it's not sold here (and is not as low as H&R). Seen some negative remarks on Corksport; probably due to spring rate it has to...

spacers for stock 19in wheels - sizes

No problems, straight bolt on. Don't forget to torque them.. I've seen 80-108 recommendations. I did 90ft lbs and rechecked, seems good.

    Adjustable Camber Arm

I contacted them and he (I forgot his name) said the received some control arms that week and they have a CX5 to play with. This was a couple weeks ago. The thing about the toe bolts is it looks to be behind the axles. I assume people are saying that adjusting toe also adjusts camber.. but...

    Adjustable Camber Arm

I know that JBR is currently working on making an adjustable control arm for our CX-5s. I keep checking both places for "new product". Waiting for this before ordering springs

spacers for stock 19in wheels - sizes

Just thought I'd show some pics of my stock wheels with spacers to make it more flush to the fender. I think 20mm on the front & 25mm on the back are just about right with the stock tires. The pics look like their in a little but the rims are really pretty flush (3rd one is best). I got them...
