I'm writting an essay for my English Comp. class and it's on the history of autoshows and the effect they had on car designs.

I see your point but I have driven my sisters three many times in wet weather and never had a problem with wheel spin. I just don't really think it's needed on a car like the 5 will it help yes, but I don't think it's needed.
Or anyone who knows nothing about Mazda, The 5 doesn't need DSC it's a little baby car and it handels great. Traction Control is a good idea because must will not think to let off the gas if they start loosing control.
