    CX-5 USB errors.

Odd, I use a SanDisk too with 600 songs. Works OK so far. I don't use iTunes or anything though, I just manually copy the songs over. I have them organized into folders though, so there aren't many songs in any one folder.

    Window Rattle?

Sorry to those who share the problem, but then again I'm relieved a little to see it's not so uncommon, as maybe Mazda will identify a common cause easier and have a TSB for it soon :) Pretty much the only "flaw" I've noticed in 2,000 miles.

    Post CX-5 Reviews...

Nice review! I've read other glowing ones too, especially about the handling. I'd be tempted by the 6 for our second car, except the darn thing is a foot longer than a CX-5, which is already slightly longer than the small cars I'm used to. The 6 literally wouldn't fit in my condo parking space...

    Dash Cam thread

I'd like to hear recommendations too. I've seen the super-inexpensive $30 ones, but I'm not sure if they work well enough. And yet I don't want to pay hundreds for one either. Just wish there was something in-between. And one with a long enough cord to wrap all the way around the headliner, down...

    Interior noises - Touring FWD

Excellent! Mazda dealerships (and corporate Mazda) have been good to me too, which is why the CX-5 is my second Mazda, and we're planning to replace our other car with a Mazda in a few years.

    Window Rattle?

Anyone else's window rattle? My driver's side window rattles on bumpy roads, but only if partly open. It's fine when rolled up all the way, but if open even an inch it sounds like it's rattling within the frame when on rougher roads. If I hold on to the top edge of the window or jam my fingers...

    Fun/cool stories to share

Neat idea! It was cool when a fellow Gray CX-5 owner parked next to mine a few days ago and we had a nice conversation about how much fun the car is. It's neat having a brand new design, as I'm guessing that doesn't happen as often with CR-V owners :) We were both furniture shopping too, which...

Which TomTom Map Colors do you use?

Boring but easy to read. I distinguish between local roads, highways and interstates (not shown). The main idea was to get rid of all the different "area" shades (urban, woods, park, etc.) which drove me nuts (pun intended lol). I stole the colors from my old Garmin. EDIT: Night theme. Tricky...

    Any Complaints (hopefully all minor)

Yes, and the cupholders are just a teensy bit too close together to hold two large drinks from McDonald's or whatever. The cups slide it fine, but the tops of the V-shaped cups clash so that one has to lean over... so you can't leave them both in then without risking a spill. I actually end up...

    how far past zero range?

Agreed, as the manual actually says, "We recommend keeping the tank over 1/4 full," though I don't know if that's to prevent mechanical problems or just to avoid running out of gas.

Which TomTom Map Colors do you use?

I've been playing with a Themes Editor for TomTom, as I don't really like the ones that came with it. I don't like distractions; I like to just know where the land, water and roads are (and not all the different zones like urban, woods, etc.), so I made my own themes (see attached) that are...

    Any Complaints (hopefully all minor)

LOL, glad I'm not the only one to notice that! On my first daylight drive after buying mine, I was convinced my clock face was cracked or broken as it had these black bands covering the numbers. Then I got home and took off my sunglasses to see it closer and.... miraculously fixed! ;) One thing...

    2.0 Petrol or 2.2 Diesel?

One thing I'd mention is I think your petrol engine makes a 'lil bit more power than the one we have here in the States, as I think yours uses Premium fuel, yes? So we may not be comparing quite the same thing. Still, in nearly 2,000 miles with my petrol in all sorts of conditions, I've never...

    new skyactive 2.5liter gas engine

"Mazda has confirmed its bigger new 2.5-litre petrol engine will be fitted to the popular CX-5 next year, when it is almost certain to join the top-selling mid-size SUV range in Australia..."...

Tom Tom Traffic Disappeared from Nav screen

On a related note, does anyone know how to turn Traffic OFF?

    Spotted

I haven't seen many in my area (north of Philadelphia, PA and Trenton NJ), but as I was furniture shopping yesterday another gray one pulled in and parked next to me too (GT though, mine's Touring). We chatted a bit, and they love theirs as much as I love mine. They've had theirs since May with...

    Auto volume control

It apparently does both (volume and qualities). From the manual: "AudioPilot 2*4 AudioPilot 2 automatically adjusts audio volume and sound quality in accordance with the level of noise entering the vehicle interior while driving. When AudioPilot 2 is turned on, the system automatically...

    Auto volume control

Yes... I think you get the audio screen up, press SETUP, look below the BASS, etc. settings (might be a page down) for Auto Level Control or Audio Pilot (depending on which Bose you have).

    Post CX-5 Reviews...

"The CX-5 can't match a VW Tiguan for agility..." Seriously? I've never driven a Tiguan. The Tiguan handles better than the CX-5?

    Throttle Response

I'll second this ^^^^ I experimented with it a lot more this morning, and there wasn't any appreciable lag between hitting the accelerator and feeling acceleration when in manual mode. Naturally, not much happens unless the revs are already up there a bit, but regardless of the revs it at least...
