I've always liked Raybestos Element 3 pads and rotors . I've not had any squeaking from either the o.e. brakes or raybestos replacements 🤷‍♂️ so I can't speak to that. As far as "creaking" noises, my guess would be suspension items like upper strut, LCA, etc.

Now wondering if I screwed it up. :confused: EDIT: I might have jacked up the wheel hub / knuckle when I tightened down the LCA and sway bar links, but now I honestly don't remember. You describe the noise as rubber squeaking as well as loud clunking. You said you recently replaced the LCAs. Did those not come with new BJs? Try disconnecting the sway bar links and going for a drive. That noise kinda sounds like sway bar bushings.

I replaced the whole CV axle but I haven't inspected the front stabilizer bar end links.. I guess I'll check that one next .. crazy mystery at this point .. haven't done tire rods or LCA yet either
