    2025 CX-5 heavier steering feel

If your winter tires/rims are heavier than the OEM wheels, it can affect the steering to some degree. Tire width can also play a factor; a wider tire means that the contact patch is larger, which can affect steering feedback. Another factor is tire compound. Winter rubber is more grippy. All of...

What did you pay for your CX-5?

Right, but your sales invoice would break all of that down "line-by-line". If you'd rather not go through the hassle, I understand. Thanks

What did you pay for your CX-5?

If it's possible, and if you're comfortable with it, would you might posting your purchase price before taxes and fees? It would be helpful for those outside of your state to compare MSRP and dealer discounts plus other relevant costs like dealer fees.

    2026 Mazda CX-5: Who’s actually getting one?

Alright everyone, please note that we already have a thread discussing the 2026 changes. This is not for that. This thread is for those planning to get one, to discuss things like feature differences in trim level, price differences between trims, desired colours/interiors, available...

    2013~2016 CX-5 Rear Suspension Knock

In this case, the TSB clearly admits a design defect, with a solution that replaces the defective part with a redesigned part. You can try to make the case that this is a safety hazard. If I were you I'd be pushing for replacement of both coil springs since you wouldn't want to risk the other...

    Windshield wiper replacements don’t fit

You want to buy blades that use the "top lock" adapter, not the normal J-hook style. I think the Bosch Icon is one that will work, and I think there are some Napa and/or Trico blades as well, just have to make sure they have the top lock adapter. That said, it's a lot cheaper (usually) to just...

    New to turbo engine

I agree that sound is definitely subjective. But at this point we're going off topic, so I have to put my moderator hat on and ask that we circle back to the main topic. Thanks!

DIY 2016~2021 CX-9 DIY Transfer Case + Rear Differential Fluid Drain and Fill

Both should be more than capable. It's a simple drain and fill, with the fill and drain plugs accessible from underneath the car. The only restriction is that you'll need a shallow 23mm and 24mm socket, or flex-head wrench for the fill plugs. Drain all fluid out, replace drain plug, fill until...

New member here w/ a few questions about a new CX-5

This isn't correct. When it comes to cylinder deactivation, it cannot be disabled. There are aftermarket options to defeat the i-Stop feature on some cars. I know for sure there is something for the CX-50, so there should be an option for the CX-5. But that only works for i-Stop/auto start-stop.

What have you done to your CX-9 today?

I bought and installed a new set of rubber inserts for the windshield wipers. Front driver and passenger from the dealer ($14.49 CDN each! They used to be like $7 or $8). I got the rear insert from a guy on Marketplace a couple of weeks ago. New wiper blade insert for the passenger side and the...

Thanks for the review! If you have any pictures of the installed intake, and/or any sound clips or video clips, I'm sure the community would love to see/hear them! It's always good to see more aftermarket options as they become available.

What have you done to your CX-9 today?

So I haven't done a coolant flush before, and I don't know how much fluid you'd need. I think the total capacity is listed somewhere in the Owner's Manual. And ATF and rear diff procedure is not specific or unique, so any reputable 3rd part shop should be able to handle it. I did trade in my...

What have you done to your CX-9 today?

I think a coolant flush would be a good preventative measure. There was a TSB for plugged heater cores in some models up to 2019 MY, when Mazda switched the formula from 50/50 to 55/45 and changed the FL22 formulation to include more or better corrosion inhibitors. I would highly recommend OEM...
