I have the corksport and while it's looks cool and sounds good (no problems with it breaking around the resonator, had it on for at least 5k miles) bending the hanger can be annoying. The drone is a little too loud as well. If I had to do it again I'd probably get a usede catted apex downpipe...
hey where do you have the bov and bpv? if so where are they and are you recirculating from the hot-pipe back into the intake like on the stock set up? I don't see and place where a hose goes into the sri pipe... (dunno)
I dunno man, your sig does say you have a supercharged P5 and not an msp, which the pipes where designed for...any pics of the engine bay and poor fitment?
there is no question that venting a bov to the atmosphere will make the cool psst/woosh sound. But did you keep your bpv and recirculating as well? It seems like simply having a bov venting to atmosphere (no bpv at all) stalls for some, but not for others. Does anyone have a clue why besides...
a hi-flow cat won't even fix it, you have to get some sort of air-fuel timing (DSM afc, Unichip, MPI Tuner, etc.) and hopefully that would lean out the air fuel ratio so you wouldn't have so much buildup
It is customs, he increased the price because he redesigned it so it fits perfectly, the extra material and labor put into making the redesigned smic's costs more money.
it really is loud man, if you wanna buy mine i'd probably sell it too you for a lot less than 389+shipping...pm me if your interested. Plus I live in Durham, don't know how far that is from you...
Thanks wicked, is there specific one I should ask for? Also, my question as to whether I should replace the corksport resonator or add another one somewhere along the piping has still not been answered.
