Exactly why I always do my own and never have a garage do it. I don't care if they are free. A dealer replaced my oil pan years ago, I got the car back and it was a quart over the fill line. I brought it back and made them drain the excess out.

Tool box won't tell you anything, card is corrupted and needs to be replaced. Amazon cards work well but you may not be able to update. .

Do a search on this forum, this has come up before and has been discussed extensively. This happens more often in colder climates with short trips. I could've sworn there was some sort of software update to the engine to help alleviate this.

I like Akebono pads with Centric rotors. OEM works great too if you can get a good price.

Somewhat disagree on the oil thing. Depends on your OCI. If you're doing 5k intervals, which is what I do, then no, it won't matter. If you're pushing the limits, say 10k, then you want to be fussier.

You could probably get those at Home Depot for half the price, all they are is copper washers, I think they're size M12 maybe smaller

Banjo bolt gets torqued at 21 ft lbs. Drawings show two gaskets get used, one on each side but mine only had one when I replaced the brake hose.

Who replaced the rotors and were the lug nuts tightened with a torque wrench after they were replaced?
