Is there anything bad that can happen to your car if you ignore the clunk? I remember reading that it's because some bushings get worn out. So should you get them replaced as soon as you start clunking?

I wait till the rpm drops to around 1 and don't rev high untill the engine reaches operating temp. It really depends on the temp you start it up in. I can remember the words of my old highschool auto teacher. "95% of engine ware comes from kids like you who don't let thier engines warm up.";)

Thats interetsing, I noticed my crack on a very hot day too. I know for a fact that there was no crack on the drive to my friends house, and when I pulled into his driveway (kind of steep and uneven) got out turned around to show him my new car and there it was. Heat + Hills = crack =P

For those that have had their windshields replaced under warranty, have your windshields cracked again since? I got a crack 1 week after I bought the car and it would suck to have to keep replacing it =T. Oh yea... Waddup to San Jo MSPs!
