I used the one we had for our old car, and what do you know? It fits like a glove. I had to be creative by adding hooks to the four corners. I just cut the hooks out from old bungy cords. Everything stays put in the back with 3rd row seats down.

Good stuff! Did you drop down anything between the roof and the bag/stroller? If not, any noticeable scratches from friction?

Good luck with the find. I saw a set of used OEM ones on Kijiji (Toronto based buy/sell website) for 08-10 MZ5 and a cargo net for around $200 CND for both a month ago.

I'm thinking it's a good investment too. Just peel it off when you sell your 5 and it's like brand new front end. I hate the look of those paint markers over stone chips. You can still see them up close because it leaves an indent on the original paint. As for the full nose bra, I find them ugly...

We paid about that just for the provincial/federal sales tax (known as PST and GST), plus all the other fees all add up to around $3,000. Total taxes and fees are around $7,000 and that's not including that we bought extended warranty and rust proofing. You have a point about the drugs. I saw...

I was thinking of getting this for our new 5, but it cost over $700 to cover complete front bumper, 1/2 the hood, 1/4 of the fenders, and side mirrors. Is this worth the investment? Or should I just buy a full OE bra for under $200? For those that haven't heard of 3M Paint Protection ...

^Seriously? That's amazing!!! I don't know why we pay so much more for our cars here in Canada??? Our GT out the door was over $32K. 13% sales tax. sticker was $25,495.

I'd stick with the OE if you can. I heard a lot of complaints about aftermarket racks such as Yakima and Thule about wind noise.

Chief, is that $21,388 out the door pricing? What was your tax %?

I never use the bag either. Does this Thule bag also come with a protective mat you place on top of the roof to reduce the fabric from rubbing?
