I think that's the theory, but honestly I find the sport mode accelerate instantly without applying additional force to the gas pedal, might just be me..... in normal mode, I find there's a 2-3 second delay before it downshifts and then I accelerate.

Agreed, had the same thing on my old car, useful only for trips to Home Depot or garden center, but as soon as I needed the third row, the full size one piece cargo liner took up so much room when rolled up and dirt and soil all over the place.

I see your point, but in split second scenarios, I don't think you want to be second guessing whether there's a car there or not, with the new system there might be a car physically there yet no light or warning. with the old system at least you know it's always lit when there is a car there...

this won't work on 2016+ not sure for previous years, if the key is nearby or even in the car; the trunk request button will allow any stranger to press the request button and open the trunk. try it now, you don't even need to press the unlock button, as long as the key is near the trunk...

thanks, they're held in by molded plastic "hook" tabs, do not try to remove them by prying them out from the front, you may damage your paint, remove the bottom panels under the fog lights then reach from underneath and feel for the tabs and angle them so the "hooks" release from the bumper...

Not a big fan of the OEM double horizontal bars bezel above the foglights so I removed them and Installed fog LED bezels $45/pair (ebay) in 2016 CX-5, these will not fit if you have the LED fog options, the diameters don't match...
