My blue coolant light goes off around 130F (~54°C )

I replace mine annually... living in PNW rain.. then hard winter pass use.. definitely lose effectiveness long before rubber separation. Visibility in adverse weather is up there with proper tires throughout the year for me

I like the best sure footedness of winter tires and AWD in the snow. I’m in a mountain pass nearly every weekend in the winter.. even with snow tires FWD/2WD is often required to chain up. AWD does not have too even though enforcement for winter traction tires should still be enforced on AWD...

IMO: Overall TCO has been pretty low over my 10 years of ownership. Purchased my ‘15 in summer of 2014.

Minor scratches can often be taken out of plastic with a heat gun. I’ve done it before on other vehicle but you have to be very ..very careful to not make problem worse. Make sure heat gun doesn’t overheat plastic too much to cause further damage. You can find other hits online on the topic..

Look around the ABS sensor bracket grommet. That is where intrusion occurs in TSB for the AWD models

A factory defect if there but probably well beyond the Body/Corrosion Warranty which I think is only 5 years
