I hate to say it but it sounds like a battery issue with the FOB which probably means you need a new FOB. Sounds like the problems some owners were having with the newer CX-5's where the FOB goes into sleep mode. In that case I believe they were able to disable that function.

How many miles? Did you get service records? Need more info. Were plugs ever changed? etc.

Does it exhibit the same behavior on the passenger door? The parking brake will illuminate whenever you unlock/open a door. Have you had any starting issues, is the car battery old? A lot of issues go back to the 12 volt car battery. A weak battery plays hell on the electronics.

Do you have a second fob and if so does it do the same thing?

Have a 2019 Reserve purchased new with 61,000 miles now on the ODO. Car has been perfect, not one single problem. Mazda has extended the warranty for the possibility of the cylinder head cracking.

Replace the radiator. They're inexpensive. That foam may be some sealant the previous owner put in the radiator so you wouldn't notice the leak. Also if you continue to drive it make sure the coolant is full otherwise you could destroy the engine. I'd take it to a radiator shop asap.

If your car is still under warranty take it to the dealer and get it fixed.

Or a transmission shop if one exists in your area. If you want a fluid change make sure you/they use the correct fluid.

I read the manual. Does not say anything about synthetic, only says use 5w30. So when I tell the service dept I would like 5w30 syn and they say Mazda does not recommend syn what's a person to do.

You are correct on the turbo - 5w30. My mistake. Probably due to the fact my 16 takes 0w20. Confusion reigns.

It's possible and won't be the first time. I'll check and report back once the misses arrives.

I'm 99% sure the oil cap says 5w20 on the turbo. It's not here right now but I will double-check when my wife returns. I always check the oil level as soon as I get it home after a change. It's always been correct, at least in that aspect.

I'll ask service dept next time I'm in for a clarification. They may use a blend, I don't know. I know they put synthetic in my 16 (you can see it on the invoice) but the 19 invoices just say Mazda 0W-2 which I assume is 0W20. Actually they should be using 5w20 on the 19 Turbo. Previous invoice...

That's what two service depts. recommended for my 19, maybe Mazda's changed their minds with the newer models. I know there's conflicting views on the subject and maybe I'll re-visit it next time I'm in for an oil change but I would not pass up a vehicle just because it didn't use synthetic.

Mazda does not recommend synthetic for the turbo. I've never put synthetic in my turbo since new and it's had zero problems in 65,000 miles.
