    CX-70 delayed to next year

Yes, but if I could manage it, I'd love an X3 with the B58 for the commute into city. But certainly both are killer options that IMO the CX90 doesn't really approach. Whether they are worth the extra $ is perhaps a diff answer.

CX-70 will have same exterior dimensions as CX-90

In my book you're a winner since I now have proof for my wife that she's not the only one who gets car texts from her husband.

Prob could save money by removing the third row cupholders...is it me or in the videos, they left those in? So the luggage has a place for their coffee?:p

    CX-70 debut information, pictures, discussion

I hear this. I know I won't get much traction on a Mazda forum with this opinion, but I won't be regretting my decision a yr ago to get a Blazer. 191 inches long, 308 HP from a naturally aspirated V6, and torque vectoring. Heck, I'll gladly take my chances on Chevy reliability vs this new...

    CX-70 debut information, pictures, discussion

Yes, a differentiation to capture more of the market. What a concept! Seems to have eluded Mazda. Thing is, let's say we forget the CX90 exists. They just came out in that case with a 200 inch long 5 seater suv, the thing no one was asking for . 190 would be the sweet spot, anything over mid...

CX-70 will have same exterior dimensions as CX-90

Absolutely. Clarify this, it's not hard. Company almost seems to like leaving us hanging. Maybe they like the chatter? Corporate decisions don't always follow logic.

What have you hauled with your CX-9?

I'm guessing waaaaay over payload and GAWR rear.

    Year 2 CX-90 changes?

This came up in the past with the CX9. My 19 CX9 came with remote start on the fob, was no issue, open door, get in car, still on. Course, the heat didn't really function with the remote start, so never as warm as my 17 CRV. Which also didn't shut down when the door opened. Thankfully. I'd...

    CX-70 delayed to next year

Nobody does long reveals like Mazda. Making us guess at a bedsheet's hidden contents. Hopefully the time is used well, to bring a refined 70 to the market. Edit- i notice that Car and Driver states it will have a shorter wheelbase than the 90, which to me ends the rumour of similar dimensions...

    CX-90 Reviews are out

I'm posting this here realizing it'll get hate. But at this point, if you love the CX90 for what is does, I get that. Nevertheless, this is not a great effort at the end of the day. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kdvOwtc97Gg

Shopping for a CX-9, should I avoid 2020 and earlier?

I'll admit I'm prob more apt to not hold a grudge against a car company, but even within a brand one model can be great and another a lemon. Even within a model, one engine's a peach and another not. Regardless, even at my ridiculously low km (20k, and km not miles) I couldn't see myself...

CX-70 will have same exterior dimensions as CX-90

Fair enough, the buildup and mystery around the length will def keep me watching. I just looked, the CX90 is about 200 inches long. Closest I can see for non-lux brands is the Gr Cherokee at 193.5 inches. The Mercedes GLE coupe is over 196 so even that would fall short by a few inches on a 5...

CX-70 will have same exterior dimensions as CX-90

How ridiculous is it that so much mystery is wrapped up in the dimensions. Another reason to dislike (hate?) Mazda's long teaser periods. For all I care, keep the damn thing under wraps and embargo the info until your'e a few months away. I like reading about the minutiae of cars as much as...

    Poll 2.5T Coolant Leak/Engine Replacement

This is the thing, I often see the % amount of failures brought up as a reassurance. But this isn't like a sensor that goes faulty or a malfunctioning sunroof. The threshold for a % that would make me not worry is way low when the repair is thousands of bucks.

CX-70 will have same exterior dimensions as CX-90

It's not harsh, I can take it! Trust me, no one was more surprised than me when I signed. Truth is, I didn't need the size of my CX9 when I got it, use it as a 5 seater. It was more a two vehicle combo thing, I knew I'd need a truck to tow so pairing that with a 7 seater doesn't work. One of us...

    CX-90 Reviews are out

I prefer to see what they think and judge myself. I didn't think the review sounded biased. The limited space and low speed trans characteristics is a common thing mentioned in reviews. The infotainment being hard to use will always be YMMV, and again a common thing across any brand reviews...

CX-70 will have same exterior dimensions as CX-90

I literally just got a truck and would be right there with a deposit if Mazda made one. Unfortunately, my CX9 will be a trade in so my time here might be limited...here until delivery at any rate. But with the CX70 news, maybe I'll be back! I got tired of waiting so got a Blazer in the spring...

    Mazda Memories

My buddy's dad had this one, it was a fun car and had a beautiful interior. We were 18 so it was plenty fast for us. They also had a Legacy (manual I think) and a loaded Accord. Sedan heyday.

Shopping for a CX-9, should I avoid 2020 and earlier?

I'd avoid. And I say that owning a 2019 (no issue yet) If you are thinking there's still some warrenty left or extended one tempts you, I'd also be wary. Denial of coverage is very possible, esp not knowing exactly where the previous owner did his service, and if he followed the schedule...
