    2016~2023 Lowering CX-9 using Mazda6 suspension

First gen lowered for over two years. The ride is just fine; better than any other lowered or lifted vehicle I have owned or driven. Does it ride like a stock 9? Nope. Does it ride like a brick sh!thouse? Nope. Rides like a lowered 9. 👍 I haven't owned a stock height vehicle for over 30 years...

    2007~2015 CX-9 Replacement brake booster - Beware

This is why you always compare old parts vs new. I used to give my techs a hard time whenever they cut this corner.

Changing the water pump to be on the safe side

I wouldn't. There is no guarantee that the replacement won't fail. The best thing is to be aware of the problem, check the coolant on a regular basis, and watch the temperature gauge. If driving and the temp gauge is anywhere but normal, shut her down immediately and investigate.

What have you hauled with your CX-9?

Never took pics, but when I first got the 9, I had to transport the extra parts for my old ride to its new owners place. Put most of this crap in the 9..... Again, no pics, but had it full of personal belonging when doing a big spring cleaning last year. The only image I do have is from...

2013 CX9 small leak on rear diff and PTU. Normal?

Leaks are normal, but to say "nothing to worry about" is not quite right. Inspect the fluid in the PTU. If it has been run low, the old fluid will be pudding like. That could be the start of an issue for the PTU.

What made you buy a CX-9?

Was looking for something, found the 9 on Craigslist. It caught my fancy, did a test drive, had it inspected and took her home. It is more vehicle than I really need, but I'm lucky I did buy it, as a year later I needed lots of room for my now needed medical equipment. They say things happen for...

    Starter issue?

Sounds like a starter issue. Could do a load test, but would need to warm it up first, so might be tricky to do.
