Have you test driven them? No one can predict how you will perceive each vehicle's road noise and comfort. Obviously, you are on a Mazda forum. The owners who post here will have already decided that road noise/comfort were adequate for their needs, or they would not have purchased the car.

Complaints fall on deaf ears. In not so many words, the response I'm getting is, "We're never to offer this feature, get over it."

Why? What segment does the CX-3 serve, then? That would be a total of 4 hatchback/crossovers (3 Hatch, CX-3, CX-4, CX-4) and 1 full size SUV (CX-9) in their fleet. Seems to scratch an itch that isn't there? Bring back the pick-up! :) It looks nice enough, though.

I would definitely try one out with a carseat if I were you. Our passenger's seat has to be almost all the way forward to fit our rear-facing carseat. My wife is short so it doesn't affect us much, but for tall people I could foresee it being a problem.

Sounds like an issue with your dealer's service department. If they had fixed the issue on the first try, would it have changed your opinion? At least they are replacing it, and not giving you the runaround trying to get out of it.

Yep, they just replace that one piece around the screen. No big deal, dealer switched mine out in 15 minutes.

Sorry, I was referring to the bubbling dash panel around the infotainment screen. Mine looked very similar to the photo posted above. Got mine replaced under warranty. No issues with the new one so far.
