You are smart to do so. I have seen a few dealers here in texas that do the same thing, but luckily non of the Mazda dealers I have been to. Some dealerships WILL try to get that extra money off you.

The only thing that would really turn me off would be the heavy understeer of an awd. Maybe good for others, but not my style.

but at least it's blue. I did have to "fix" it already. nothing bad, just the motor was not anchored, so it would torque about 1.5" till it hit the side of the "engine bay", so I zip tied it to keep it in place. Now she's getting full torque but the wheels spin now! hahaha..time to find some...

Those are good numbers. I'd be interested in seeing some slalom numbers for a fair comparison instead of just linear braking power. I know the Boxter will be better in the slalom, but there's no way I am autocrossing my CX-7 to find out. :D
