Thoughts on getting a '18 Signature

Yes that's a nice color as well...in the shade or during dusk it looks more like a grey color but in the bright sun the brown shade comes out which to me is unique. The only drawback is if you get the parchment interior which really looks good but might be hard to maintain due to the possible...

Thoughts on getting a '18 Signature

Also, keep in mind as well that once the '19s come out that while you may get the better deal on the '18s due to clearouts that stock availability will factor in as you'll be left with only remaining inventory in dealer lots thereby left with fewer choices on trims, colours and packages...

2018 CX-9 liftgate Window - Does it open independently?

Not an omission as even minivans don't have this feature...of all CUVs/SUVs only the 4runner and highlander have this feature. Your best bet for hauling longer stuff would either be a minivan or a pick up truck with an open bed

    Brakes Servicing - recommended?

Just wondering with any of you owners if you've found it necessary to have the CX9's brakes serviced specifically cleaning of the discs, rotors and pads? Came to my local Mazda dealer for a change oil svc 3wks ago and they recommended this with the changeoil for approx $200 CAD and is...

I can spin the front tires on my AWD CX-9 .... is this normal for this AWD system?

No, it came with the Falkens...they were ok and quiet...good handling for 3 seasons but not good in winter that's why I changed them with the Nokians. The tire wear on Falkens weren't as good as other tires or the Nokians...something like 300AA UTQG while the Nokians have 600AA. Yeah heater...

I can spin the front tires on my AWD CX-9 .... is this normal for this AWD system?

I live in Winterpeg and owning the CX9 for a yr and a half now with 2 winters so far no issues on the AWD though haven't driven it in deep snow. Compared to my prev CUV (XC60) the AWD system to me felt adequate and comparable to the Volvo...although I wasn't confident in the OEM tires of the...

What have you done to your CX-9 today?

That's why I wrapped foam around the hinges and brackets in my garage door in case the tailgate is accidentally opened...knock on wood it hasn't happened yet

I can spin the front tires on my AWD CX-9 .... is this normal for this AWD system?

Maybe Mazda needs to tweak the programming on this AWD system a bit more...but yes they are also limited on what they have (unit) same as with all other manufacturers. That's why I mentioned on my post earlier that the AWD wasn't my priority when I bought the CX9 and of course it'll depend on...

I can spin the front tires on my AWD CX-9 .... is this normal for this AWD system?

Same here with my 2017 Signature...never experienced only front wheels spinning although I've had vehicle for 1.5yrs and gone thru 2 winters and never really driven on hills to be able to test the AWD. What I can say though is compared to the 1st winter where I really didn't like the Falkens...

    Mazda6 Signature

Yes very tempting indeed...my CX9 with the 2.5T pulls strongly/evenly from 2k up to 4-5k rpms then tapers off after that but am sure way better than the NA 2.5L and is never flat/weak between the 2-3k rpms! Maybe that's the advantage of having the turbo... One time I floored it from dead stop...

    Any word on 2019 changes?

Most likely because Mazda does very well in terms of sales down there...bigger market share will ensure company will throw a lot of features and value and keep their customers happy than say in NA where they barely scratch the surface when compared to the Toyota's and Honda's market shares...

    Review: CX-9 vs. Subaru Ascent

Haha...totally agree! I used to drive a Hybrid company car with CVT and wasn't and will never be a fan of it. My current company vehicle is an Escape with traditional 6 auto and a lot better than CVT - though it has paddle shifters which I rarely rarely ever use! I get the paddle shifters in...

    2018 Mazda CX 9 Pricing

Yes that is indeed great cust svc! When I took delivery of our 2017 Signature in Jan last yr, found a minor dent at bottom of driver's door and pointed that out to our sales rep and their GM...they said they'll take care of it just bring the car back whenever we can. After 2 wks we scheduled...

GT memory seat include heads up display?

Yes it does...in my 2017 Signature when you open the door to which keyfob was programmed to the memory seats, the height level adjustment of the HUD adjusts to whichever it was set to. I just wish the side mirrors adjusted as well but Mazda got rid of that feature!
