Bought 2017 CX-5 Touring AWD! $1000 off MSRP. Dealers selling for above sticker?

Regarding the question that Yrwei didn't answer about the MID staying on the last selected screen, I can answer that based on a second test drive. Yes, it does. So, if the MID was last on the temp gauge option when the car is shut off, it stays on the screen so long as one of the active safety...

Bought 2017 CX-5 Touring AWD! $1000 off MSRP. Dealers selling for above sticker?

Yrwei: Did you not understand the OP's question? I ask because you certainly didn't answer the question asked. I don't know the answer yet. How about anyone else?

2017 CX-5 now featured on Mazda USA site

I'd like to interject what I posted elsewhere this morning (keep in mind that the comparison involves a 2016 (not 2016.5) and a 2017 GT: I do want to comment about how some folks have claimed that the 2017 is so much more expensive. Some have commented that there's a big price jump for the GT...

Bought 2017 CX-5 Touring AWD! $1000 off MSRP. Dealers selling for above sticker?

The MID plus actual analog tach and speedo make for a much more readable display than the set up on the CR-V. Again, I make these claims based on my test drives of the 17 CX-5 yesterday and the 17 CR-V earlier this year. And the one simple info button on the CX-5 makes it much easier to access...

2017 Impressions, Noise Comparison and Our New 2016 GT

Of course, competitors don't tend to have the position of an active driving display (heck, they don't even have this HUD feature) tied to the memory seats position. Advantage: Mazda!

Test Drove a 2017 GT FWD this afternoon!

The example I drove didn't have the Premium Package (which is the only way to get the HUD). So, I don't know. The North American owner manual is a little confusing, so I was glad to see that the blind spot monitoring alerts show up in the multi-information display (even without the active...

Test Drove a 2017 GT FWD this afternoon!

That seems to the most reasonable explanation for what I saw.

Test Drove a 2017 GT FWD this afternoon!

This afternoon, I took some time out and test drove a '17 CX-5 GT FWD at my closest dealer in Fort Worth. I'm going to be doing some comparisons with my current car (a 2016 CX-5 GT FWD) and a 2017 Honda CR-V EX AWD that I drove earlier this year. Here are some observations: 1) Even with me...

    2017 CX-5: Driven!!

In addition, some folks on here don't like other people's expressing views that conflict with their hate affairs with Mazda and the CX-5.

This is what loyalty gets you

It seems cheap compared with the ridiculous $1K Honda charges for nav-even if it does come with HD traffic.

2017 CX-5 now featured on Mazda USA site

Yrwei: I encourage you and others to look at claims made on this site with a critical eye and to avoid taking the other extreme view: that all Mazda does is aimed at screwing you and everyone else. I can admit my mistakes too. Relax, man!!

This is what loyalty gets you

No offense is intended, but I just can't agree when people say the premium package is pricey. Honda wants $1,000 for their navigation system. The premium package is an amazing bargain!

It appears that what yrwei's dealer told him was off the mark. I live in North Texas and plan to avoid that salesperson like he's a bloated corpse.

    2017 CX-5: Driven!!

I appreciate the value of Monte's view, but I'd take the "handling is compromised" aspect with a grain of salt. This is contrary to what a lot of Professional reviews are saying; if anything, the consensus is the steering and handling are improved over those of Gen 1.
