I have clutch chatter sometimes but I had my trans out this summer when I was replacing my LSD and it looked just like it did with 20,000 miles on it when I broke the LSD the first time. You could still see the machine marks in the flywheel. I dont claim to know everything about the stock clutch...

If you dont plan on upgrading the turbo then I wouldnt build the engine. Just raise the boost to 10psi with supporting mods and you should be fine. If you really want to get good power out of your car I hear people have great luck when they are heavily modded with the stock turbo when tuning...

You really need to replace the engine or take the engine out and have a rebuild done to it. I just dont like the idea of changing the bearings in the car with no machine work. We have never had any luck of doing this when the customers request this.

Just to make sure before I order a engine, any 2000-2003 protege or 626 FS 2.0 engine will bolt right in to a 2003 2.0 protege. Correct? BTW I know there use to be a thread saying what engines fit but I just cant seem to find it.

This is another question are the exhaust manifolds the same on the protege and 626? I think that the NA protege manifold bolts up to the stock J pipe that the MSP has also right?

I want a list of all the 2.0 FS engine that are the same. I know some of the older FS engines have a crank that is not forged or something. I want something that will be a pretty easy swap.

I have seen people over tighten pumps and cause the bearings to fail in them as a result. But it sounds like it is low on fluid. How much is it loosing?
