My car, 2020 model, shifts to 6th at 44-46 mph on the dot. Sometimes shifts at 43-44 mph only if I am driving on an incline, downward, but rarely. 44-46 mph is the norm. Manual mode driving, though.

I am going to guess here: high pressure switch.

Try a reset in the settings menu. I am not familiar with the new infotainment but on my infotainment I can go into settings and reset to default some of the safety systems.

I've never seen that fault but I would start with a OBD scanner and see if you get anything. Sometimes you have faults even if you don't see a check engine light. I've bought a tuning software a while back and it comes with a computer software. Through that software I can see and delete not...

If you apply dielectric grease on the terminals before attaching the cables, you are making a mistake. The dielectric grease it's an insulator and it will prevent contact between the battery and the cables. If anything, you should apply the dielectric after you connect the cables.

Definitely look for one with Head up Display. It's a game changer.

That's exactly what I say. The driver has the ultimate authority. You want the car to respond to your command, not to override you. Not just the acceleration pedal but also the brake pedal. The car initiates the braking and let's say you get scared and your first impulse is to press the brake...

If you intentionally accelerate, you press the acceleration pedal, you override the brake. The car won't brake, it will let you go.

We're all commenters trying to tell others what they can or can't do, aren't we? You presented a situation and we are telling you what you can or you can't do, but it's up to you to do it, it's not mandatory. Keep in mind that most of us here are just simple Mazda drivers, we're not Mazda gurus...
