Mazda teasing all new 2026 CX-5!

They indeed position it as all new :) The all-new CX5, meticulously designed to be very similar to the current model, I can only imagine how much effort it takes...

Mazda teasing all new 2026 CX-5!

Mazda has always been willing to be compared to cars like X3 and Q4. That's achievable when top tier CX5 0-60 is on par with base X3/Q4 (at least on paper.) But if Turbo's gone they can forget about being "comparable". On the other hand I'm not sure if an average CX5 consumer knows what 0-60...

    What's next for the CX-5?

I hope that's not the real pic, b/c it's not attractive to say the least. But if it is real, then I guess that's their way to stimulate customers switch from CX5 to CX50.

Blower motor rattles. Worth a trip to the dealer?

Please keep us posted. same thing on 2021, about 25k, but out of warranty I had a more pronounced rattling caused by dry leaf that made it past the filter somehow, removed it and it was fine for a year Now it started to vibrate on higher RPMs, and there's nothing in or around the filter

    Wheel Position Sensor?

Does detached Wheel Position Sensor manifest itself in any way? Isn't it part of ABS, should it light up something on the dash?

Did Mazda make a mid year engine change?

Could they be artificially limiting the output to match 2025 models, to test the new engine out in the wild and will be releasing the 2026 upgraded line with the same engine but full power? They really need to catch up with RAV4's 302hp.

New CX-5 pulls to the right even though alignment is good

I had (and still have) exactly the same issue with my 2021 - it's tends to swerve all the time. My previous cars (including 2016 CX5) would just drive straight, while with this one I have to constantly apply effort to make it go straight. However there's no particular direction it tends to...

Rear pads changed 2nd time at 23k?!

It is a Turbo, and it went for the valve stem seals recall service back in October, after which I received a text notification on my phone that I'm due for a three month service :unsure: I knew something weird was going to happen after that text, I'm getting some kind of a special...

Rear pads changed 2nd time at 23k?!

The first time was at 15k: 2019 CX-5 Brake questions Now, I bring the car in and ask them for a printout of all the brake pads wear. I take my car back after hours - no service people were available to give me the printout, but they mention some work was done on rear brakes. At home I see this...

Thinking of getting a CX-5 Turbo, things to look out for?

The recommended oil change interval is 7.5k mi, a lot of people here do 5k. I don' t think it's possible to do 13k with no oil change, and not getting low oil light triggered, but again a lot of people are clueless. Should not cause damage, but there should be a ton of options with no 13k gap...
