Yeah, I had noticed the same thing as well. Strange bug that makes me think it is done on purpose for some reason.

I think you are 100% right. I also think that longer, more sustained driving burns the oil much faster.

I have repeatedly mentioned this in posts through this thread but the strange thing is that if you check at any point below 4K miles, everything looks fine. After that, from 4K to 5K, the levels drop dramatically.

That is your opinion. I absolutely love the look and in person, it looks even better.

The link I gave above is now stating that the Australian I6 is a de-tuned version of the engine to meet emissions requirements in Australia. The HP and Torque of the I6, if it is the top end model, will have to be higher than the 2.5/Hybrid engine.

And their 2.5T makes 300 hp and 311. If Mazda is competing with the MDX, they are going to be in trouble with this. Their v6 makes 290 hp and their turbo is 355. The failure of the Sky-X to be used in the USA, the development of high displacement gas powered engines in the era of $5-10/gallon...

Yeah, I picked a bad time to upgrade my cars! Except for this one issues, they have been good (knock on wood!).

I just recently saw a CX-50 on the road and it was really nice looking. Pictures don't do it justice and it is great to hear that the CX-60 is similar. Can't wait for the CX-70 and CX-90!

I actually have three cars that have this issue, a 2021 CX-9, a 2021 CX-5 and a 2021 Mazda 3. I have purchased five Mazda's from my local dealer in the last three years, and sent them 2 other people to buy Mazdas, so I am expecting them to take care of me. And they have indicated they will.

This is something I have noticed with that CX-9 and the CX-5. The oil loss is not linear and is associated with long trips. It goes really fast after 4500 miles.

Actually, our CX-9 at close to 45K miles seems to be dong better, but not sure if it is because they are overfilling (going to dealer). The oil level goes below the top hole, but the light does not come on anymore. Our 2021 CX-5 with less than 20K miles, has the light go on at about 2K miles...

Agreed. Can't believe they would give the CX-50 and CX-60 a pano but not the CX-90.

What I don't understand is that the move to the RWD architecture was supposed to result in a more sporty drive. But the reviews say the opposite, that the old CX-5 feels sportier. If that is the case, what do you get to the move to a RWD system?

Everything everyone else said plus better lane keep assist. It is useful to have in certain moments. A longer front seat. The short seat can be a limiting on long trips. Continued good gas mileage. I want 300 hp and 30+MPG. No more piano black plastic. More color options for outside and...
