Put RX8 wheels back on. Ahhhhhhh the smoothness!!!

Yeah! the KYBs didn't come with covers or bumpstops so I just transferred the ones from the old shocks (pictured) to the new ones. these shocks were only $47 each.

I replaced my rear shocks and upper mounts with kyb and moog. Mazda want $524. Now i can put my summer wheels on!

I guess I was lucky. I went over a deer laying dead in the middle of I-55. The 5 went airborne before landing hard on the front suspension. Other than A ripped off skid plate, and a crumpled heat shield, no serious damage. Sorry you didn't fare so well. You'll love the Honda Accord though!

It'll be even better with an 18 inch wheel and 40 series tires! When you try it, you'll know it's not just for looks! The H&Rs tend to overwhelm the stock setup if pushed hard like I do with the 18s. Running Cooper RS tires on both.

Yeah, original in the back. I had one replaced under warranty at 25k. This one started leaking at 88k. Will replace with Moog mounts and KYBs. I've already put KYBs on the front along with H&R springs it should be a piece of cake.

Well, blew my left rear shock. Mazda wants $414 dollars. Too funny! Not from THIS wallet! Anyway, now I get to put on my Moog rear shock mounts!

I ordered new rear mounts from Moog too.

The problem was officially fixed yesterday. No really! By accident while installing a new bulb on the left side, I noticed that the top of the strut was slightly askew in the mount. Upon investigation, I found that the nut on top, which looked snugged Down, actually wasn't! And so the hole was...
