    sway bars

To expand on what speedin said, you don't want to take them off because the sway bars help control the roll of the car. Think about it this way, when you're driving and you make a sharp turn the outside edge of the car (if making a left turn the right side and vice versa) gets closer to the...

I live over in Middle River. Probably wasn't me that you saw, I don't ever drive on 70.

    Couple issues...

Should have mentioned that there are no aftermarket mods on the car. It's bone stock.

    Couple issues...

Well, according to neox.286 it could be the wastegate. I thought about that too. Guess I'll have to play around with it.

    Couple issues...

So, I've got two issues I've noticed recently with my MSP. One is that when I get to around 4K rpms I notice a loud metal rattling sound. From doing some searching it looks like this may be related to the heat shield. I haven't checked it yet but will do that in the near future. The other...

Indeed they do. I'll have to take it over there on Wednesday and see if they can test it.

    Preparing for warm weather....

Digging up my old post, I've attached the pictures as promised. Also, there isn't a problem with my battery. I believe its my starter. The starter will start to engage, it will stop for a second or so and then the car will kick over and start. I hooked my charger up to the battery and its not...

    Vacuum manifold and silicone hoses.

This is the response I got from 505 about the wastegate:

    Vacuum manifold and silicone hoses.

Awesome! Now I just need to talk my wife into letting me buy this....

    Vacuum manifold and silicone hoses.

Heh. No problem. I think this is a better alternative to the MAM, Boost Sciences or Vibrant ones. It's only $15 for a 6 port, plugs are only $0.51 apiece and to get all of the connectors you're still under $40. Only thing you have to buy are hoses and clamps, and possibly zip ties if you...

    Vacuum manifold and silicone hoses.

That would be cool if you could check the brake booster line out. I sent a PM to 505 about the wastegate question. I'll post his response once I get it.

    Vacuum manifold and silicone hoses.

Thanks for the reply. That helps me out a bit. I was planning on ordering part 5469K151 for the manifold since it has 6 ports and I can use them as necessary instead of only getting the 3 port and possibly needing more later. Just have to plug them up (part 50785K21 (more for my information))...

    Vacuum manifold and silicone hoses.

Hope you're all having a fine Saturday afternoon/evening. I was stuck at work all day, just about to head out. At any rate, I was doing some reading and I'm thinking about replacing my current stock vacuum hoses with silicone hoses. I've also been doing some poking around on here and found...

    Preparing for warm weather....

Well, I found out the problem with the door lock. The little gear thing in the actuator is broken. Same as in this thread: http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showthread.php?t=123661122&highlight=lock+actuator I'll snap a closer pic of the broken piece, I'm just curious if it possible to find the...

    Preparing for warm weather....

Yah, I think it is the stocker. Hoping to replace it today depending on the weather here. Supposed to be in the 60's here tomorrow and 70's on Friday. Only 50's today. Hoping to get the door off today also. Not sure how feasible that is going to be since the wife is having PC problems at...
