thanks for the input...I think I will get one this spring. Did it take like 3 months for you to get yours??

    COBB ATR Discussion thread

I have done exactly what you are referring to in regards to lowering my Throttle-Requested load in XX gear tables so as to limit wheel spin in 1-2nd gears. Works like a champ, exactly what a multi-stage MBC would do, and I also extended my boost taper in 3-5 gears, to the turbos limit of...

    PTP Kicker mount

Ok but what about noise and vibrations in cabin?? One thing I like about the "stiffy" is you can remove the dampener rod in about 1 minute for DD if you don't like the NVH. With the kicker a car jacking session would be necessary to remove it. Just thinking out loud....

    PTP Kicker mount

Anybody running this ETD that mounts under the pass side of the motor? Interested in NVH to compare to the Ingals "stiffy" mount. Does it hold the motor in place, etc. Thanks!

    DIY : Painting Badges

I can tell you from mine it wasn't easy. I only put my flying Ms back on no speed or 3 emblem. I didn't completely cover the back of the emblem with tape as the front has clips and the back has expanding tabs that help to hold it in. for the guys that put back on the "mazdaspeed" and "3"...

More reasons why I like this car

very sorry to hear about the story man... I should prob move this to another thread but was it cyl #3 that let go? That does seem to be a pattern and the weakest link in the MZR. If Im not mistaken it is also where the balance shaft is located as well so Mazda knows there is a harmonics issue...

this is very curious to me what are your mods? I know i'll get flamed for not "searching" but is there a thread on here of cooked MZRs with their mods when they went boom! I am hearning a little knock/click deep in my motor at times discussed on another thread and am afraid it could be a rod...

Medievalllc lost their domain name where to buy

thanks for the reply and info however I am already running the "epoxy" mod in my stock mount and I think the rubber is torn away from the sides a little so I will have to completely replace it.

    DIY : Painting Badges

+1 nice write up but I didn't go to all that trouble with the bleach. Used to own/operate a paint shop and all we did was scuff it up with a Scotch Bright or other sanding pad. You can tell when you have sanded it enough because all the shine will be gone and it will actually look like...

Medievalllc lost their domain name where to buy

Thanks for the replies guys! I does seem hard to get parts for these cars sometimes, I guess because they are still relatively new not like a Subie, so some bad vendors are going to crop up from time to time. Very sorry to hear about the bad experiences. I'm sure Mr. evil will get his in the end.

Medievalllc lost their domain name where to buy

Thanks, A very subjective thing for sure but good info to have. I am just trying to get as much traction in this FWD car that I can without turning my DD into a race car.

Medievalllc lost their domain name where to buy

Yes I have seen that one but just worried about the dreded NVH and most reviews about the TRZ indicate it has the worst NVH. I am going with the Engalls ETD and thought I'd go with a softer rear mount. Thoughts?

nevermind after searching I guess I have determined that those mounts sucked and that they are out of business.

Medievalllc lost their domain name where to buy

Hey does anyone know where/how to buy their rear motor mount. Their website appears to be down due to domain name expiration??? I hope they get it back but until then??

    3rd P0441 Code in 10 months

oh yes, I saw that on their site while looking for their CDFP. The principal sounds good for preventing oil from getting past the turbo seals but u think it will prevent your CELs? Let me know how that part works out!!

    Boost - Fuel Cut Table

oh an just FYI I am not "feeling" any cut. The engine continues to run strong and AFRs actually richened on some logs during the drop off, then when I returned home to look at the logs I was very surprised. I just thought that maybe the ECU was cutting fuel at the CDFP by changing something...

    Boost - Fuel Cut Table

Thanks Travis!!! I am waiting for PTP to get more parts in and I'll have a new pump. I have been modifing your Stage2 + MSCAI2 91v 105 map to try and keep the boost from tapering off so much - to 16.xx psi from around 4800 up, by changing my Throttle- Request Load xx Gear tables. Maybe when I...

    Boost - Fuel Cut Table

Can anyone confirm how the ECU Fuel Cut occurs? Does is cause your CDFP PSI to drop or is it controlled elsewhere? The reason I ask is in the attached logs you can see my Fuel PSI drop right after I have hit the 21.03 PSI limit in my Boost-Fuel Cut Table AND my Throttle % appears to drop as...
