What have you done to your CX-9 today?

Lol I still love the MGM but there's something about this blue lol. Wifes CRV is also Hondas dark blue so lots of washing happening. BTW, the piano black between the windows takes to wax very well. Covered up almost all of the swirl marks.

    The Car Care Thread

This Monday coming up the weather looks good for a few days so I’ll claybar, then hit it with some CG v38. I have a few fine swirl marks from this winter I want to get out. Then I'm going to use the Turtle Wax graphene wax. I like the way it turned out on my friends car and it’s unbelievably...

Using enough spray while clay barring then hitting it with a fine polish will take care of any swirl marks barring they arent deep scratches. If your paint is newer or you've been taking good care of it, stay away from any cleaning waxes, cutting polishes or what not. And as always, wax with a...

CG stuff is typically PH balanced so it "shouldnt" effect your brothers paint. Now what I guarantee it did is it stripped away anything remaining that could be helping protect the clear coat. Hopefully you rinsed it very well and applied something to help protect the paint after that or your...

    Michelin Cross Climate

On tireracks site, loads of people have lost mpgs, enough to make me pass over them for my crv. What it came down to for me was yes, the CCs have amazing reviews for the snow, but I chose pirelis instead so I wouldn't suffer mileage.

Just looked at my friends suv I did with that wax, its black and looked cleaner than mine in blue that I washed after hers lol. Next time I wax, im using it on mine. It might be my go to finish wax just from the results I got. They sent me a video a few days ago of the rain beading off of it...

Yeah I still have it which I use for spray waxes since I don't like over spray lol. I got the Bauer DA buffer from harbor freight. After doing some research, it is legit enough and works really well and consistent. With that being said, the harbor freight pads are complete trash. Chemical guys...

Side job i did, Clay bar, then with 6.5in DA buffer griots complete compound, turtle wax black polish and finished with turtle wax graphene wax. Its a friend's suv, 2013 Tucson thats never been in a garage nor really waxed outside of a drive through car wash wax. Machine DA buffers make fast...

What have you done to your CX-9 today?

I have two child seats in my car on the captains chairs, chico zip ones. One is forward facing, one rear. I've had many people get into the third row no problem via the row between the chairs, including one guy at 6ft 190ish lbs. It is considerably easier to go around the front of the forward...

2017~2025 What's everybody using to remove scratches in clearcoat?

Without using a DA buffer, try getting chemical guys v36 and v38 (you can get both as a set on amazon small bottles for like $25). Wash then Clay bar the car. Then using a microfiber applicator pad, rub in the compound in small circles to the areas, starting with v36 finishing over with v38...

What wax do you use to make your CX-9 look amazing?

Chemical guys butter wax makes darker paints look amazing but it really only keeps the look for a few weeks. Griots best of show wax has the same results for me. Longer lasting but not as much of that wet look, I like to use griots 3in1 ceramic wax. Looks great and protects for quite a while...

New Owner of 2018 CX-9...Odd noise, any ideas?

Check to see if the windshield was ever replaced. Possible it was replaced and a small piece of tempered glass is rolling around right under your dash. If you got it at a mazda dealer, probably has the CPO warranty still good for bumper2 for 12 months, id take it to them and ask them to investigate

    CX-9 on lease but...

Also rumors of the cx8 to the US, but if the cx5 has the size you want, and you like the ride of the cx9, you'll love the cx5. I replaced my 15 cx5 with a 20 cx9 and was much happier than I thought I'd be with it.

    CX-9 on lease but...

If you love the way the cx9 handles and rides, you'll most likely dislike the numbness of the subies. If you like the cx9s power, test drive the cx5 with the same turbo engine and you won't be disappointed. That and the quality is just nicer, but I'm biased.
