    2019 CX-5 Coolant problem (CEL = P0126)

    Definitely! Although your $120 paid in Jan. 2021 will have much less buying power right now due to high inflation in recent years. “OWNER NOTIFICATION Mazda will notify all U.S. owners of the subject vehicles by first class mail no later than November 21, 2024. • Owners will be advised that...

    2017~2025 Mazda Fuel Pump settlement

    So it looks like the problem started on 2017 CX-5, the first model year for gen-2. All gen-1 CX-5’s are fine.

    Thinking of getting a CX-5 Turbo, things to look out for?

    In earlier days people were having this problem and been told by MNAO this expensive coolant control valve is NOT a normal mechanical thermostat hence it isn’t covered under powertrain warranty. See the thread posted above.

    2019 CX-5 Coolant problem (CEL = P0126)

    Another 2 recent cases here on newer 2021 / 2022 CX-5 2.5L NA with CD. Even though Mazda has been claiming in previous 2 TSBs since 4/22/2021: “To eliminate this concern, the production process of the coolant control valve has been modified.”, the coolant control valve problem seems to be...

    Thinking of getting a CX-5 Turbo, things to look out for?

    Yes this’s a common problem for the 2.5L NA with CD. I believe you can post this problem under the proper thread here: 2019 CX-5 Coolant problem (CEL = P0126)

    2019 CX-5 Coolant problem (CEL = P0126)

    A TSB has been issued and the coolant control valve is indeed covered under powertrain warranty instead of new car warranty as you’d been told by MNAO. So you may be able to ask for reimbursement from MNAO at this time. TSB No. 01-005/23 Check Engine Light On with DTC P0126:00

    Transmission Failure After Fluid Change?

    Yes your plan, doing the ATF drain-&-fill 3 time, is sound to me, but I may wait only several hundred miles in between. Here’s Mazda’s official ATF change procedure found in a torque converter replacement TSB for ATF being contaminated by iron powder on the cylinder deactivation equipped...

    Off Topic EV Batteries That Fully Charge in 10 Min by the End of 2024

    So you don’t use iPhone? Or you have an iPhone which is made in India? 😉 Not sure what kind of problems you’ve experienced on your Volvo, but China now is the most vehicle exporting country (and without huge US market) in the world overtaking Japan this year thanks mostly their EV...

    DRL: USA -> Canada

    You can’t miss the high-beam headlight DRLs either. Somehow they’re disabled on your 2014 CX-5.

    DRL: USA -> Canada

    For 2014 CX-5 the DRLs are on the high-beams. Only gen-2 CX-5’s (2017 MY and on) use low-beams for DRLs. The DRLs on your 2014 CX-5 could have been disabled either by fuse removal or by factor procedure.
