    Got FS-ZE & Mazdaspeed Cams

Will the dealer install the manifold without the VCTS? That would eliminate a cleaner emmisions part. Anyway, do the work yourself. It will save a lot of $$ and you will get to know the car very well. There have been some very good write ups on how to install both. Start on Fri. after work and...

    Greddy E Manage?

What about at WOT? Won't the closed loop signal cancel it out?

    Lightweight PUlleys

Just take the power steering and AC belt off. Drive it for a while, if you don't like it put it back on. This will give you about the same feel as underdrive pulley. A liitle better pickup, but not that noticeable.

Swapping P5 ECU with MP3(turbo) ECU

Anyone in the Houston area with a turbo'ed MP3 that wants to trade for an 02 MP5 ecu? I am willing to trade. I will even drive to meet someone who is not so close(in my second vehicle of coarse). Let me know, I am ready now!

    Throttle Body

TB I coned and optimized mine. Better throttle response and maybe a little more mid to high end hp. I coned the inner bore. Knife edged the front lip and the throttle plate, cut off the top half of the throttle bracket that holds the plate, and countersunk the screws and used flat top screws...

    Chips???

Anything on e-bay claiming to make power by overiding the signal is BS...It will kill your gas mileage and screw your car up The Apexi Super AFC is not just some resistor being sold by some dude on E-bay. It is a legitimate tuning item sold by a reputable tuning company. I have just heard that...

    Chips???

E-bay has some of them for good prices. They don't have the complete tunability of a stand alone unit, but there is a lot that can be done with one. If they are compatible with our ecu, then I think it would be a great mod. Along with some cam gears and an hour on the dyno, some suprising #'s...

    Chips???

So you are saying that a Super AFC will work on our cars? I have read otherwise around here, but that would be great if it were true. They are WAY cheaper than any stand alone unit.

Attn: Phenolic Intake Manifold Thermal Insulators

The hardest part was getting the manifold on and off. The rest I just took my time on and did it right. When you buy them, they come with very extensive installation instuctions. There was no fittiment problem. The only thing I had to do was adjust the throttle cable. As far as the throttle...

    Is this a good price???

I would suggest buying the muffler of your choice and finding a shop to bend the piping for you. I got a whole cat-back with muffler for under $250. Plus you can have them make it how you want. Resonator, no resonator, 21/4 piping, 2/12 piping, cat, no cat (only some shops will do this) If you...

    throttle body

I got the spacers from http://outlaw-engineering.com/Pricing.htm for $106 shipped. I used a die grinder for the bulk material removal, and a dremel for the smaller stuff and polishing. It would take a little whille, but I think I could come up with something. Maybe a moderator could get with me...

Attn: Phenolic Intake Manifold Thermal Insulators

I have them and love them. Plus while I had everything off, I had a chance to port the throttle body and the intake manifold, and do port matching on the throttle body/manifold, and manifold/heads. Took all of one day, but the gains were great. This combo was the best cumulative gain of anything...

    throttle body

I wouldn't say it is huge. While installing the phenolic spacers, I took some time and ported and polished the throttle body and the intake manifold. The gains were very noticeable. Best combo of mods I have done so far. Much snappier throttle response and great top end gains are to be had(not...
