I just changed out my radiator cap and it wasn't it.. so then I swapped out the thermostat and everything is good now. It was a little tough getting to the two bolts but it was fairly easy and all for under $30.

Yeah, my belt is good and my fluids are topped off. When it overheats there is no steam that comes from the radiator cap, it only comes from the overflow container. I would imagine that if the cap was bad that I would be loosing presure and steam from there. I think I'm just going to try the...

I wish I had the $$... I saw the headlights with HIDs on ebay this week. I just swapped an engine in the car and ad to put out an extra $500 in parts to get it doe right, so I think the wife would kill me if I didn't go with some cheap bulbs for now.

Yeah, I think it's the bulbs. I checked the three wires going into the bulb and the two hot wires were reading 12V. and the ground was good as well. I guess i'll just have to buy some bulbs.... just odd that they would both go out at the same time...

Yeah, it was a black silicone hose, similar to a radiator hose. I can send a picture of the peice if you are unsure. Good luck with your papers..

do you have the Water Return Elbow? This is a coolant hose that comes off the water pump and goes to the turbo and heater. It's L shaped and has a smaller tube shooting off of it.

I checked the part and it's $62 With all of the MSP partouts I'm hoping someone whill have this part and same me some $$.

I need this same hose. Does anyone local have one? Or does anyone know a part number? Went to the dealer and he doesn't have a picutre and was having trouble even finding a different part for the MSP. AutoZone ordered me the non-MSP hose. Any help would be great

Thank you for all who contacted me regarding the windgae tray. I got a call from the shop that was doing the work. They called me and rather than needing to buy fittings and aftermarket hoses, they cut the fitting off my old broken windage tray and welded the factory fitting onto the stock...

Thanks, I called the shop and they are putting in the 45 Degree fitting. The shop is NGP. If you have any friends with VW's or Audi's they shoudl check this shop out. It's not hard to find, but off the beaten path. They have some sweet cars there and everything I've ever heard about them...

the shop is going to weld a fitting in my tray today. They asked me to find out if there is room to put a 45 Degree fitting in there? Does anyone know if I there is room, or do you have to use a 90 Degree fitting? They said they prefer to do the 45 because there is less restriction of flow.
