I had my mechanic change the transmission fluid (drain & fill) on my '16 CX-5 sport at around 81k. Changed the filter also. Used the Mazda fluid.

I live in sunny south Florida where it gets very hot and it has probably affected the paint. At this point I'll probably just wait around another two years before I re-paint the vehicle.

I bought the Duracell CR-2025 (one that died in about a month) from target.

So, I was at the store when this happened and could not find a CR2025. They only had CR2032, which I was able to use after checking online.

The key fob battery had died after about two years of usage. So, replaced the CR2025 battery about a month or so ago with a Duracell. Yesterday, the key fob would not work. Had to replace it again. What could cause the battery to die so fast? Has anyone experienced this issue?

So then for a drain and fill, does the filter need to be replaced? The reason I ask is because for Toyota's if you do a drain and fill before 100k, you don't need to replace the filter. This is what the Care Care Nut who is a certified ASE Toyota Mechanic recommends.

I just took my '16 CX-5 sport for an oil change at yesterday at dealership. Noticed on the receipt that they use the MV oil filter. Is there an issue with the MV oil filter? I don't want to take the car to firestone or other places. Trust the dealership more for oil changes.

So, your mirror keeps getting loose even though you have tightened it three times in the past? When you actually tighten the screw, how many turns to hold it? Just asking since turning it too many times can potentially crack the windshield.

Mine doesn't have the auto dimming feature. I believe on mine the screw has to be tightened. The screw looks exactly like yours and the one in the video. Just need to get that screwdriver.
