No...thats actually where I'm getting the catless DP from, but the downpipe only goes back to the factory cat, right? I think we have a 'pre-cat' and a cat. I need the piece that goes between the downpipe and the catback. (cat delete which eliminates the factory cat)
I searched the forum and couldn't find any info on this....sorry if I overlooked it. Just curious...I have an Apex DP on order and a JIC Catback/Titanium, but I was wondering where I can get a Cat delete....any help would be great. Thanks
so you CAN vent vs. recirculating.....i just want to make sure that I'm not going to run into problems. As far as the idle dropping....mine does that now w/ the stock bpv
I have an Injen CAI that I just put on, but it's my understanding that if you vent the BOV the car will stall. How do you keep that from happening? Can I just replace my stock with a Greddy Type-S without changing anything else? Sorry for all the questions
look on top of your tranny case to see if there is dried up coolant there. I am taking my car back for the 2nd time to get the heater hose replaced b/c it's dripping coolant. It's not enough to leave a puddle on the ground, but enough to notice the smell as it burns off.
i took my car to the dealership today and they said they did a flash, but i don't notice a real difference. they would have had to take the chip off of the board, right??
I just ordered the Injen CAI and was wondering if it's basically a "throw me on" or are there complications to the installation? Does it work with the factory BOV/BPV?
like a braided hose? what kind of hose would you recommend? In regards to the coolant smell - I had the same thing....look on top of the tranny case and i bet there's a small dried up puddle of coolant. The leak will show up when they do a pressure test.
They say the "street life" of the orange MSP's will be very short. I have an orange MSP and keep a real close eye on it. Got my first door ding at 1000 miles, but other than that things are OK so far. Sorry to hear about all the other problems on here.
I have the same problems: hesitation, clunk (both problems warrantied and should be fixed on the 31st with a 'flash' and new bushings)...but the front suspension 'creak' is something new that started now that it has been getting cold (not sure why) I also have repeated problems with coolant...
I have already been into the dealership twice for a coolant leak. I believe its the coolant line that goes into the turbo. Their first attempt didn't work. I understand your frustration about letting others touch your car too - especially when they can't get the job done right the first time...
I have an appointment on the 31st to get my ECU flashed and the bushings replaced. Hopefully I'll share in the luck of no more 'clunking'. Do you notice a big difference after the ECU flash??
Orange. I bought it last March and I asked the dealer the other day - still the only one they have sold. Kinda makes me feel unique having the only orange one out of 120,000 people in bloomington, normal IL :)
