    next aussie GB

The Pacemaker thing "covers/fools" the missing O2 sensor OK. Was just thinking about the legal ramifications of fooling with the emissions gear. Coppers aren't real fond of that....... I'm using Powerflow hotdog and muffler. Not very loud but sounds nice.

    next aussie GB

SS lines for sure. The brake thing I'm also interested in from rr-racing at the right shipping price with suitable pads.......(nervous about that......) Headers - there is still the Pacemaker option locally which I would like to explore and report back on, also about the ramifications of...

    lowering time for my mazda

The standard Kings drop height is 35-40mm which I have and which you have seen kar10w. Whiteline approves of the King things. Theirs are re-badged Selby springs and there is not a lot of difference (diff colour....)

3 more on the latest list 24 inc mebbes. ABC is only driving to Sydney, might take him as a passenger. TDK still not on the list and BigMal might have his thing on the road (Jynx with him). BigMal has THE nicest BA in Oz imo.......(turbo.....)

    New subs woohoo!

Go with the sealed option for SQ, definitely. Keep in mind that WINISD always goes for a "maximally flat" alignment, without really looking at other parameters such as group delay or power handling etc. If Upstate is using the 1 cu ft sealed box andf they are "doing it" go with that, nothing...

I would prefer a slotted rotor rather than a cross-drilled one. I spoke with Specialised Brake and Clutch and went round and round in circles. They reckon the DBA rotors are pad-killers and there aren't any rotors suitable anyway. Dunno..... Race brakes reckon the go is Corvette C5 front...

    My boot install

Spare is in the normal place. It's covered in 4mm dark grey carpet to match the boot trim near as possible. Each side has the halogen lights if that is what you are talking about ELEmental

    My boot install

Well, it's almost finished.....but this gives a good idea of how it will look. Things are just put there for this pic, the sides will have hinges and the whole thing hinges and comes out so I can still get at the spare, with some mucking around, if I need to. Subs are Pheonix Gold Ti12D's...

    I am still here

Gotta be a good story in there. Got to be a bit "lonely" over there. Not too many WA'ers on any boards I've been to. Hang in there, Davo :)

    Mazda 3 in Australia....

Would be TOO much trouble to make a 3 as good as my SP20. Actually I think my next will be an RX-8. (might be a while.....)

    another aussie GB

For me it is BRAKES..... SS lines, yes, the Goodridge ones for bikes are certainly ADR compliant......whatever. But slotted rotors and pads would be good, even if front only. At nearly 60k's, my pads will need changing before too long.

    Tyre Impressions

I am using Falken ZE502 in 205/40-17s and these are a very good if not great tyre. A fairly quiet tyre (important with an SQ system.....), I get little tyre noise on anything but coarse-chip surfaces and when pushed they just don't howl or scream to much degree at all. Decent grip wet or dry...

    HiBoost Vs. StreetDreams

The Street Dreams version includes an E6K as opposed to H10 haltech and a fair bit of programming to suit our cars. The HiBoost kit "out of the box" needs work for use here. There are also small development details such as some new bracketry as our radiator is 3mm thicker than a P5 and some...

    Alternative Brake Pads

Good heads-up, SFC01v2. I am currently looking into some slotted rotors, I'll see how that goes as well.

    Torque the movie

Buggar... I'll pretty much watch any movie that has wheels and a motor in it.:) Given the crap that most movies are, at least its not Arnie or Bruce/whatever playing "our hero is the best killer".

    Torque the movie

I'm getting the clue that it's thumbs down.....:) Not terribly surprised. Sorry I missed the other thread, didn't know to ask until i saw the trailer on the telly....

It comes out here on the 22nd, made by the 2F2F people apparently. Anybody seen it, any good?
