    Performance upgrades

I'd like my 5 to have more umph as well but i don't buy that an intake and exhaust will do anything thats worth the money. One thing i plan to do that has worked well on cars in the past is light weight wheels. Its truly a worthy investment in almost all aspects of driving dynamics but its...

    Submit a Product Idea

Fwiw, if there was a forced induction option for the 2, i may just run out a buy one just to do it, lol. While i total give the idea a thumbs up, thats not why i'm here. Two ideas for the CX-5. One simple, one not so much. 1. How bout smoked LED's for the rear reflectors in the bumper. Like you...

    Corksport lowering springs interest thread

While i appreciate your input, I don't think anybody signed up here is concerned with going over taller obstacles at higher speeds. With its design it is more "off-road" capable than say, a Mazda 3. I personally never intend to test these properties. As long as i can get around public streets...

Side Windows Deflectors and wind noise

Its those giant side mirrors making all that noise at highway speed, imo. As far as the "rain gaurds" are concerned, that was their design intent. So you could crack the window open and not get rained on. While your smoking i guess, lol. My experience with these things is it depends on the...

6-speed manual test drive - finally.

Skipping gears definitely helps the mpg. Given your not going up hill that is.

right. at this point i would be happy if they would just stock the h&r's. but i'm still wishing for springs designed for the sport fwd manual.

I would assume corksport would post in this thread if they decide to pursue this. But i have not received any official word from their camp.

    DIY Cargo cover

Good thinking, thanks. Its true. The general public wouldn't believe the markup on somethings. It seems things they think are marked way up are not, and vice versa. Furniture is a huge offender of this. I worked in it for ten years managing the last 5 and the truth of furniture pricing is...

    Would you buy a MAZDASPEED2?

Nice numbers. But not a fan of the look. Give me a Mazdaspeed 2 with the Mazda's current design language and extra 50-70hp and I'd be happy.

    What color did you choose?

Its unfortunate that some of you folks had to settle because of limited selection. In my area there's 3 Mazda dealership's and they all had plenty of colors in a number of trims. This was late summer though.

    DIY Cargo cover

Damn, i want a 20% coupon. It sucks how car accessories from the dealer are so marked up.

    What color did you choose?

Black for me. It was almost required for my fleet. And i'm not a fan of the plastic trim around the bottom and it stood out less with the black. Though there is a white one in my town and it does look great.

I know, it's the honeymoon period, but...I LOVE IT!

I experienced the same over road and bridge joints. Very harsh. So i checked the tire pressure the following morning to find the tires at 40 psi. Oddly the tpms never lit up on the dash. Lowering the tire pressure to the right amounts helped. But i think the harshness is more attributed to the...

    Corksport lowering springs interest thread

This has never been the case for me. I've been driving lowered cars, in the winter mind you, for years and its never much of a problem. Where i drive the roads and lots are paved. Besides, to me, lowering the cx-5 would still leave plenty of ground clearance for every day travels even in...

And another useless post from you. You joined 8 months ago and have nearly 1,500 post? Ya, your posting useful and helpful things i'm sure. And whats with adding e- to everything? And where are all these auto vs manual topics? I've been on this forum and others for years and have yet to ever...
