    CX-5 Fuel economy

I just drove from Roanoke VA to Norfolk VA - 250 miles trip and my computer shows 33.7 mpg. This is driving on state road at 60mph with dozen stop lights. Considering that my computer is on average only .3 mpg off, that's very nice fuel consumption. This is for 2.5l engine AWD.

Pic and Measurement Request for Curt Hitch

To me, a hitch is a necessary eyesore and I'd would prefer to have it 'hidden' as much as I can. Since I already decided on class III, I rather pay more for hidden hitch if it's less visible. Since there is no picture on etrailer for Curt III to clearly compare two, I either have to wait for...

Pic and Measurement Request for Curt Hitch

I'm not sure that my impression is wrong. Definitely, Hidden Hitch III is more hidden than Curt's II. The one on the left is Curt and Hidden Hitch is on the right.

Pic and Measurement Request for Curt Hitch

I already have class III accessories from my previous car so I'm going to buy class III hitch. Also, there are less chances of twisting with class III when you are using accessories like carriers and bike racks.

    Wheel weights

Five weights, 10 weights or 100, why does it matter? You have to look for the weights to see them. Just relax and enjoy your car.

    2014 CX-5 GT - Engine Software Update

I usually don't read manuals either but there is so much new stuff in this car that I took some time to at least go through it briefly. I keep a pdf version on my ipad for quick access. 2014 Mazda CX-5 owner's manual and other references

    2014 CX-5 GT - Engine Software Update

Owner manual is your friend. Blue light is normal on cold starts and should be on for few minutes (sometimes a little bit longer depending on outside temperature).

    2014 CX-5 Hood TSB?

My question is: Have you noticed hood vibration because you've heard about or you just noticed it on your own? I'm asking because I have 2014 and I have slight mirror vibration at higher speeds. If I haven't read about this problem, I'd definitely not pay any attention to it. Also, what you...

Check Engine Light after 150 miles

Sorry to hear about your problem. I assume that the code has been reset. I'd wait and see if it comes back. This code usually indicates that the engine didn't reach required temperature in specified amount of time.

Brand of gas and fuel mileage

I buy my gas at Kroger. Prices are better than average and if you calculate shopping discount (3-30 cents a gallon) that's by far the cheapest gas in my area. Also, it helps that Kroger gas stations are very high volume.

Potential new owner... cargo space questions

That's not true. http://www.etrailer.com/Hitch-Accessories/Brophy/HTAD.html Although, I do agree that 2'' hitch is better (more stable for bike carrier, etc.)
