Won't any header make the engine rev faster? If the shorty header does this than it is just as good - even if there is no HP gain, the car will be more fun to drive (and faster) if it revs faster. I think I heard in another thread (I think protegev said it) that the wagner shorty shaved .4...

So was it really noticeable from outside the car? What about from inside the car? I like the performance gain, I just want to make sure that it is a good, loud enough sound. I know that it has good pitch (it is deep) but I have no idea what the volume is.

I would go for some 12" kenwoods. There was a package deal at Best Buy a few weeks ago for 2 12" Kenwood subs, a Kenwood amp, and a box for $320-$330 (I can't remember exactly). They sound nice too. In my opinion they were the best sounding subs in the store.
